I have 105 4k movies and thought that was a lot. Your collection is awesome
I love movies and collecting. I started with VHS around 1985. Only have maybe 5 tapes left.
Including dvd, blu ray and 4k i have a little over 1,000 titles. Some are double or triple features or more.
At around 100 4Ks, i'm only missing the slip for The Martian & The Outsiders if they exist.
I have quite a few Kino, Scream / Shout and Warner Brothers / Warner Archive
A fair amount of Mill Creek, Olive and Twilight Time
Wow 1000...I just got started and bought my first few - The Batman & Maltese Falcon. Looking at more with some of the recent sale prices.
Letting the idea of needing slips go, frees your mind to more of what is important...the movies in best quality. I get rid of garrish redundant packaging and only display the essentials and double to quadruple up in multicases. Why do I need 3 "x" title when I only need to see one and keep the extras within? Slipcovers limit this abilty.
However I despise custom artwork too. Original standard packaging is a must even if it is aweful. Digibooks are ok, but digi packs and stupid Criterion Godzilla book crap needs to go. On rare cases I might even go with DVD artwork if it makes more sense like say Wonder Woman series which is so much better than the bland crap they released on bluray.
This is a small collection I see here. Reminds me of my first bluray years where I had to get every marvel slipcase...then dealing with lenticulars...import better ones...who cares? Get rid of them all and only keep the best look on shelf. Maybe stuff like Showgirls 4K ultra deluxe sets are an exception....but something tells me I will be putting them away one day too. Just one more thing to jack up the cost and get away from what matters.
I hear so many people drooling over some dudes photoshop cardboard release (I am talking about back at the studio, not this gentlemen that helps keep media alive), meanwhile we have the Curzon Three Color Trilogy 4K perfection that makes a grown man weep at its beauty! Annoying packaging, but damn who cares. Just a great time to collect the MOVIES in stupendous quality.

500 4ks? Not a bad start! If you're living that slipcover life I recommend plastic hard cases or bags so they keep looking amazing as the years go by.
I get why some people would want cases or sleeves for steelbooks, but for a slipcover is just nuts.

Is there a way you know if you’re getting a slip cover? I always do be frustrated when they never come with a slipcover but can never find out how
No real way to tell if online other than buying the movie within the first few weeks of release brand new. First printing runs have slips, most additional print runs from major studios do not.

Just yesterday I bought Ferris Bueller's Day Off on 4k. It was the first actual 4k Blu Ray I have ever bought. I may start collecting more.

Are all 4k blu rays on 60 fps?
I have less than 100 hundred 4k DVDs but the ones I have and you don't are all the resident evils, GI Joe retaliation and monster hunter. I strongly recommend resident evil and monster hunter. GI Joe is a Skip.

Sir You gotta go back on standard full hd 1080p blurays and 1080p tv It's generally better quality than 4K. And ultra bluray
