As a Japanese person my body shivered in disgust when I saw the chicken katsu roll even though I lived in London and I know westerners have a wildly different take on sushi. I think it’s the way she said it was the ONE holy staple and I was definitely not picturing a chicken katsu roll. 😂
It actually tastes pretty good! Not traditional at all, but don't knock it till you try it!

Avocado toast has been an Australian staple since the 1960s-70s. Trust me it's BIG in Australia.

I’m American and am OBSESSSED with this channel, but I’m not familiar with what chain restaurants you have over there 😅 so general ideas- favorite frozen food meal, favorite road trip snacks or snacks from the convenient store/gas station, and favorite dips!

I've never seen sushi eaten in a full roll, like a sausage roll without being cut. A bit bizarre, but it all looked good.

Avocado in sushi isn't just an Aussie thing! It's also very popular here in North America. Just had some here in Toronto a few days ago! YUMMY. I gotta say though, having chopsticks in my house is ESSENTIAL. I seriously couldn't consider my kitchen complete with out at least four sets!

Avacado in sushi was invented by Americans in the 70s. Thats why its called a california roll. Chicken Katsu was invented by the Japenese for american soldiers living in Japan.
Actually salmon sushi was invented by the Norwegians to get the Japanese to buy more salmon from them.

Soy sauce is in the little fishie thing. The rolls are called handrolled and theyre meant to be like that. As for why theyre eating it like that......they want to??
