Susan Webb that’s soooo my husband. I have never seen anyone so calm about everything. Even if I’m irritated he walks off and goes on about his routine. My son and daughter are both just as calm as he is. I’m pretty calm myself until I’m provoked. Lol. Even our animals are super calm. Hahahah I do think we need a bit more excitement in our life. :)

No, not all men want these things. But his recommendations focus on a positive attitude and outlook towards life and being a team while still maintaining the ability to be a happy individual. He has never said his relationship is perfect because we all have bumps in the road. The fact that he can focus on his wife, how she helps him feel like a successful husband and that he views their relationship as a team is awesome. Hello Mathew. My husband is the most boring man in the entire universe. He is not interested in sex, watching movies, going out for dinner, talking about romance, giving me a compliment OR appreciating my effort. All he wants is having kids. I am 25 and I already have 4 kids. And the fun part is that He wants to have more children. Our marriage was arranged by our parents. He only wanted to be with me , didn’t want to hang out with anyone else.. It was too much pressure for me . I wanted him to live a fuller life with ambition and purpose other then me. I have now met a man on Eharmony who has a full life; a demanding job (as I do) , lots of close friends who he meets up with regularly (as I do) and we meet up when we can and appreciate and support each other. DEBRA Kitchen, it's hard, but can be done. However, you'll probably want to communicate via skype or something visual about once a week minimum. Not always possible, but that's the goal. Also, depending on how long you've known each other, or how much you're invested, it might be good to define what the end goal is in whatever it is you've got gong on. Normally I'd say mystery is a good thing, but this is a different beast. You can still keep mystery there, but you also should probably have something rooted for you both to connect to when the wind blows. And be sure you both know you appreciate each other, and why.

He is so driven to succeed in his work and running the alumni chapter of his fraternity. He is passionate about life, dancing, and me. Gotta admit that his passion for me is awesome! Finally, well he may not be patient in some areas, he is certainly patient with me. He doesn't belittle me when I make mistakes. The best example I have is when I left the AC unit on before I left to go to work. He reminded me to turn it off before I left, and I forgot. Instead of making me feel stupid, he calmly reminded me that he would like the AC to be off during the day. I apologized, and he said, "that's okay, babe just keep it in mind for next time." These are just a few of the traits that I find very attractive in him, and in men in general.

What would be attractive in a man is when they don't easily feel emasculated by the little things like being given harmless advice by their woman. The dishwasher scenario you mentioned in another video should not be a reason to feel as though the "manhood" has been taken away, or accosted. Men should have enough confidence in themselves to not take unsolicited advice too personally. Maybe, some people (women) were just born to be overly controlling, and the need to impart knowledge is just part of their DNA (which can be annoying, too), and has nothing to do with the guy's abilities. The only reason why women don't see most of us this way in our day to day lives, is because men actually behave very differently around women. Hello Mathew. My husband is the most boring man in the entire universe. He is not interested in sex, watching movies, going out for dinner, talking about romance, giving me a compliment OR appreciating my effort. All he wants is having kids. I am 25 and I already have 4 kids. And the fun part is that He wants to have more children. Our marriage was arranged by our parents. I am with him because I love him and I know there is something in him that makes me love him but I don’t know what to do with him. I mean life is not gonna go fun like this, i have tried taping him with other girls and he doesn’t show interest in them. I tried to introduce him to some of my boy friends (male friends) thinking he might be interested in boys but doesn’t work. I m just too tired now. Please help me if u have any advice for me. Positivity, calm, and peacefulness is what I look for. I recently met a man who seemed very down on life and had some sort of drama going on everyday, issues with everyone at his job, family issues. That's just way too much for a new person to have to deal with. Or anyone for that matter 🤦♀️
Thank you Matt this was very enlightening. When I met my now ex husband we promised to be equals and eventually he put me on a pedestal and wanted me to make most decisions. He only wanted to be with me , didn’t want to hang out with anyone else.. It was too much pressure for me . I wanted him to live a fuller life with ambition and purpose other then me. I have now met a man on Eharmony who has a full life; a demanding job (as I do) , lots of close friends who he meets up with regularly (as I do) and we meet up when we can and appreciate and support each other. We both see the magic in life and how precious it is. We also believe its a partnership of discovery, respect and support. DEBRA Kitchen, it's hard, but can be done. However, you'll probably want to communicate via skype or something visual about once a week minimum. Not always possible, but that's the goal.
Also, depending on how long you've known each other, or how much you're invested, it might be good to define what the end goal is in whatever it is you've got gong on.
Normally I'd say mystery is a good thing, but this is a different beast. You can still keep mystery there, but you also should probably have something rooted for you both to connect to when the wind blows.
And be sure you both know you appreciate each other, and why.
DEBRA Kitchen: my bf Patrick hoeger and I were in a ldr and I moved here to Texas from Indiana and now we've been living together for a while. What I can say is some days are tough cause you miss him sooo much and other days are easy cause you love him so much. But if you make it through the lonely times and make it work and make a plan to be closer so you can see each other then it can work out for the long term.
Agree..our love relationship communicates daily for hours..and visual about every other day..Viber/msger..very positive..we spend HOURS online..HOURS..sometimes 8-10..no kidding brought in newyears in USA and in Egypt..never a boring moment..

Finally, well he may not be patient in some areas, he is certainly patient with me. He doesn't belittle me when I make mistakes. The best example I have is when I left the AC unit on before I left to go to work. He reminded me to turn it off before I left, and I forgot. Instead of making me feel stupid, he calmly reminded me that he would like the AC to be off during the day. I apologized, and he said, "that's okay, babe just keep it in mind for next time." These are just a few of the traits that I find very attractive in him, and in men in general.

What would be attractive in a man is when they don't easily feel emasculated by the little things like being given harmless advice by their woman. The dishwasher scenario you mentioned in another video should not be a reason to feel as though the "manhood" has been taken away, or accosted. Men should have enough confidence in themselves to not take unsolicited advice too personally. Maybe, some people (women) were just born to be overly controlling, and the need to impart knowledge is just part of their DNA (which can be annoying, too), and has nothing to do with the guy's abilities. Also, a guy who is not afraid to "ask for directions" is actually attractive, because it shows how comfortable he is with himself and his shortcomings. *I say this with sincerity, and not out of insult.*
