I'd always thought Rickshaws were weighted slightly forward so you just lift up a minimal amount of weight while you run with one. But it turns out they're weighted slightly back so you don't lift at all, you push down. That's got to be so much easier.

Sadly, newer female generations after 2010 are starting as a trend to just get cars.
Where is Quebec my friend?
I saw various young men pulling those rickshaws when I visited Japan, they were actually running around the streets with 2 passengers.
the young lady takes pride in her rickshaw and her work 🙂

I'd always thought Rickshaws were weighted slightly forward so you just lift up a minimal amount of weight while you run with one.
But it turns out they're weighted slightly back so you don't lift at all, you push down. That's got to be so much easier.
Gadis pekerja keras, di kota yang sangat keras bekerja, demi menggapai cita cita untuk menghidupi keluarga atau masih sendiri, saya bangga sampai 😭 melihat sangat sedih, seperti film "Oshin". Gadis jepang memang 👍 ❤😍❤😍❤😍❤😍❤😍❤😍
Earning an honest living. Respect

It must be a gimmick, to have these beautiful petite girls pull heavy tourist Rickshaws. I see them everywhere in Japanese cities. Hard job, only for the young and fit!
This must be the Royals Royce of Rikiju. Respect. 🙏
An Indian rickshaw, cannot even dream about such clearness and accuracy! 🙏
How hard working they are ,hats off
