If we drop a book and slip while picking it up we have to write a report. We can and do say we haven't had any training on picking up books from floor. Sounds stupid but it puts an end to their investigation and analysis of the situation and them trying to develop a corrective action plan for dropping books. And no this is not a joke it's totally serious. It's Australia .

I took a rickshaw ride driven by Yuka-chan in Asakusa. It's so cute to see Yuka-chan guiding us with her body language and hand gestures! And her hospitality is amazing😊 If you are ever in Asakusa, you should definitely take a ride on a rickshaw driven by Yuka-chan!
Each time I see her, Yuka-chan is growing more beautiful and competent. She's always been funny and extremely cute but never as sharp and confident "doing the guide" than she was during her explanations at the Temple Grounds in that vid. You can tell she is no rookie anymore. Her long-time fans know how much she struggled as a trainee and even though she was already very popular at that time, they probably remember how young Yuka-chan would kind of "sell herself short" sometimes, pointing out / apologizing for her conversational skills, lack of knowledge of the area. That was before but no more. Yuka-chan has worked very hard and it shows. Her new-found confidence really gives her a new dimension company, I think. We all know how much she dreamed about this Disneyland job, not being able to get it must have been a big blow for her but this video right here by GTJT is the proof how she reacted to that upset. By following her motto, naturally. I have never seen her so fully committed, determined and physically fit. No doubt her "three-legged" races with Nana-chan have helped her build her stamina. She's become quite the athlete. Way to go, Yuka-chan ! The managers over at Disneyland have made a colossal mistake in failing to recruit this fine, very capable, beautiful and hardworking young woman. Their loss. By the time they realize their mistake, I'll be too late for Yuka-chan will already be a world-known superstar, a Tokyo Richshaw manager and probably have her own RUclips channel, as well ; like an another Tokyo Rickshaw manager we know. That's all I wish for her. It takes two to make a vid and have a ride / talk, GTJT Onii-san. I liked how you just kept conversation going without monopolizing it, leaving Yuka doing most of the work. Her Shimosa / Kazusa genki pitch is the ultimate anime voice and GTJT's polite acknowledgements, ever so on point. Just what's needed, more or less. I feel you! It may not be the same with the rickshaw experience (since they’re expensive af), but I’ve been to the onsen once and this nice old lady made up the futon for me. You can't deny kawaii culture is part of their job. Saw this back in '07, and the reason most men lined up to these rickshaw girls is because they're cute, and they like the idea of cute girls physically pulling hard for them.

Of course she wasn't forced to do this job but if you put it in her context, most of the time these people don't have much of a choice as attractiveness (being kawaii) is all they can sell to the workforce. Then there's the occupational hazard of being sexually harassed. Which is a staggering 60 percent in Japan. Its not always a black and white here.

I feel you! It may not be the same with the rickshaw experience (since they’re expensive af), but I’ve been to the onsen once and this nice old lady made up the futon for me.
I felt guilty to have someone else make my bed so I tried to help her lay it down, but she was like no! No! She almost swatted my hand LMAO
Wonderful to see persons like Yuka chan, happy from within, having contagious smile, amazing storytelling skills, working hard and being spontaneously lively... All this in just a 20 min rickshaw ride..✌🏼
Great thing about Japan is people are really knowledgeable, have given original things to the world and yet they are so humble and hard working... with Japan no one on this planet ever feels cheated....

I understand what those concern about her tho, the job is neither for poor ppl or low status ppl in Japan. It’s a part of culture and history, and a honor job supporting Japanese tourism. That’s good if everyone pay respect to her without blaming and pitying her…. Also there’s no restriction and law to inhibit her to change her job….

You can't deny kawaii culture is part of their job. Saw this back in '07, and the reason most men lined up to these rickshaw girls is because they're cute, and they like the idea of cute girls physically pulling hard for them.

Of course she wasn't forced to do this job but if you put it in her context, most of the time these people don't have much of a choice as attractiveness (being kawaii) is all they can sell to the workforce. Then there's the occupational hazard of being sexually harassed. Which is a staggering 60 percent in Japan. Its not always a black and white here.

This is my first time visit to your channel and I'm so impressed with the upbeat yet physical work ethic of this young woman as she runs and carries you from place to place! She is so fit, yet so gracious and kind. She shows so much potential that we can only admire how hard she works. Like, she's the real deal! I can see why so many young foreigners who visit Japan are so impressed with Japanese culture, elegant design, politeness, and respect.
