    Their is a small hole on each thermostat which should be at the 12 o'clock position for air escape..

    • @sarcastic_2uNY
      @sarcastic_2uNY 5 месяцев назад +1

      Exactly they're a little holes that need to be set at the 12:00 position those holes help to get rid of air bubbles. This guy has not lined them up at the 12:00 position so he's going to have some issues with air bubbles. I'm just saying.

    • @Mr_Goody
      @Mr_Goody  5 месяцев назад

      It is true. I did make this mistake and had to re-burp the system and put them in in the correct position, but I did manage to get the air bubbles out and put them back in correctly so make sure that it is in the right position when you’re putting in the thermostats.

    Thanks a lot sir. Very helpful. I also found the coolant leak I had observing this video. My thermo is acting up and there's a leak at the same time at the water valve gasket.

    Regardless of making the mistake of not draining the fluid first. It's a great video and shows what not to do. We all make mistakes it was great you tried to do it without drain. People are curious and I'm sure you're not the only one who's made mistakes. Awesome video I'm going to take this in the next week or two. Doing the waterpump as well super and lower thermostat.

    You did a fantastic job, man. I applaud you. Even if you made it a little harder on yourself than it needed to be, you still got it done. And at the end of the day, that's what matters. I AM a certified mechanic, and while I would have drained the fluid first (just poking fun at you😉) you did a very exceptional job.😊 I'm intrigued to see you replace the heater core next. It's always a learning experience to watch someone else do something, since there is never 1 specific way to do things😌🙏

    At 15:24, on the upper part of the screen, what is that electrical connector called? it's mounted and has the white locking connector. I ask because I was trying to put it back together and both ends broke apart and need to replace both end connectors. Thanks in advance and love your video.

    • @Mr_Goody
      @Mr_Goody  9 месяцев назад

      I always call it a retention bracket that is on the electrical connector. I can’t remember 100% what it hooks to but I’m thinking it may hooked either the AC compressor or the auxiliary fan.

      I reckon he just wanted more light or something, no harm done but more bolts and screws to deal with is the only downside. I once disconnected my power steering fluid hose when I didn't have to and the fluid was chocolate syrup burned - I wouldn't have changed it if I hadn't done that.

    • @AGreasedMonkey
      @AGreasedMonkey 4 года назад +1

      @@Mr_Goodyfor starters, you don't need to disconnect the battery. The part you call the water regulator valve is the thermostat. I didn't watch long enough to find out what you think a thermostat is. If it's a sensor for the coolant, that's called a coolant temp sensor.

    • @Mr_Goody

      Google Sucks BALLS I don’t know what to say, just that you are wrong and I respectfully disagree as I looked the blueprints to this car up from Nissan themselves. I don’t know everything, but I will post what I know about. I made 1 mistake in this video and that was I should have drained the coolant first. Lastly I put this video up to help others, youtube is a hobby and I make little to no money off of it but if I can help one person than I’m happy. As for you, you can just not watch my video if it bothers or offends you. Nice username by the way.
