    I don't think I would have that much patience with a glue gun doing those but you did an outstanding job and the video was super helpful. Thank you so much for making this and sharing it!

      Just finished an 80s era, full wrap, 10 step floating staircase in my house. Always room for
      improvement but I was very pleased! Would love to see how you’d go about something like that. Thank you for all your content.

    The only time i have issues with staples is when i don't wiggle it in the between the nap. But if i do that your staples will never show! I do like your batman technique on the back and front corners

      It is a repeatable message, that same process can be done time and time again and it will always work that’s the good thing about that method

    You have so much patience to sit there and do this on a whole flight of stairs. Maybe I have the wrong work ethic, but I'd just put folds on the edges and staple it. Do you charge extra for these time intensive jobs?

    Does this work with commercial carpet as well ?

    • @FloorsbySouthernboys
      @FloorsbySouthernboys  Год назад +1

      Yes you just need to be more careful so you don’t unravel the carpet but the same cuts and same techniques will work for that as well

    Pretty sure something is wrong with me, I do this stuff all day and come and watch videos of another person doing it, nobody in their right mind would go about work in this way, nice steps man well done

    Hot glue rules. Way too many staple jockeys out there worshipping their stapler.
    Did a flight of 16, 42 inch wide curved stairs in a short cut pile Millican carpet. The wrapped edge was on a curved wall in a large circular entry. Not one staple was harmed or disfigured because I didn't use any. I made a long tip like yours, for my Orcon 100 Watt gun. I love that hot glue.
