AWESOME. Just what I needed. Our puppy chewed apart some of the carpet on the bottom birdcage step. Now that he's grown and likely won't chew it again time for a repair. I can do this!

dude I've been in the carpet business for 16 years we do installation, carpet cleaning, and repairs and I have to say you do very very good work I'm very impressed with your work ethic and how you much you take pride in your work. I actually took some notes on how you installed this. No matter how long you been doing this business, there's always room for improvement and learning new things. very good video... 👌🏽

I came across one of these a few days ago and it was my first so I was there a while trying to figure out how to position the carpet and key points to cut. My finished result was fine but took a little longer than this. Wish I'd seen this before haha. Great finish, I may consider buying a knife like yours after seeing this video.

Can you use this method of cutting v around the bull nose if the carpets patterned? I'm worried the joins will look funny, the carpets got spots on its kinda in between a fleck and a pattern.
I've got a huge double sided one to do and I've never had to do one like it 😣

Hey Keith awesome job as always. Quick question I’m doing this crazy flight of stairs for my sister so obviously I’m not charging what I would charge somebody else I just gave her the Carpet for cost and I was like just give me something for my time. Anyway what would you charge somebody for a flight of stairs that was three boxed steps down to a 3 x 6 landing then three more boxed steps and then five double capped and then the last step which would be the sixth double capped double birdcage bullnose. This house was 350 yards and no drops every damn room had a seam and you had to seam the closets as well lol .. .I wish I never gave my father a sample that didn’t have 15 foot goods to bring up there lol
