Stephane comments, "Jazz is of elusive nature, which defies a clear definition through words and concepts. Instead, the primal frame of Jazz originated in late 19th century New Orleans, and has been expanded upon by countless musicians throughout the 20th century. The founding fathers, including Louis Armstrong, captured the primal frame of Jazz, allowing it to grow worldwide which allowed Django Reinhardt, a Gypsy genius guitarist and creator of the band 'Le Hot Club De France,' showed the world how to play Jazz on guitar and strings in general, uncovering the entire mechanics of the guitar, transcending all origins and nationalities. The modern ear has changed and after almost a century of Jazz and Django being in the same realm, a group of musicians has been brought together to give birth to a project that reflects the grooves and flavors of New Orleans and Django's Jazz, as well as the modern ears and individualities of each musician."
