    Looks really good. I’ve been looking into making one myself. Have mostly seen 2 wires twisted at once in either the forward or reverse motion on the drill to create your desired pattern but I like the free and not molded fit on your design. For me, I’d go without any coating, green wrist and all, simply for the added benefits of copper making direct contact to skin.

I just got a mini torch today. Haven't used it yet and it was only 45 bucks but I already have my own tanks and if you order it also order what's called blowback protector that's included in the 45 bucks

    • @autodidacticartisan
      @autodidacticartisan 2 года назад +6

      I use 30-35 amps. Once the link get red hot(2 seconds) it completely fuses it all shut. You can do it at 50 amps if you want to just zap them, I don't have that level of foot pedal control. Just make sure the coppers really clean before you tack it because any impurities in the copper will weaken that link and when you go to twist the chain the link with the impurity will break

    The music was very hard on the ears. Try with no music next time. No demo video should have music. Natural sounds and silence in between is best.
    This was an excellent chain build demo! Love the chunkiness. You forgot to tell us what gauge wire this was, looks like 8-10 gauge most likely. You can buy bare copper wire too, but liked your recycling.
    For cutting, use a fine jewelers saw so you don't leave a large gap in the jump rings. $15 with blades on Amazon.
    That was a neat trick with the drill to straighten out the wire, never knew you could do that.
    Also liked the wax or silicone or what you put down to hold it in place while filing. Very clever.
    Chain looks fantastic! Well done! I learned a lot, thank you.

    really nice work! You may overthink your action to wear it every day cause your sweat is caustic and the result is an copper salt, entering your body when liquified...

      You could seal the copper with clear porcelain spray.

      Only half true. You would have to EAT an enormous amount of copper in order to achieve the level of toxicity required. Fortunately, his bracelet isn't enough to do much other than turn his wrist green from his sweat increasing oxidation.
