    For those unaware of the reason the copper wire was heated in the beginning, is because it was annealed/softened. Immediately after the wire is heated to a cherry red, it is quenched in cold water. Then you can straighten it out and use steel wool, or chemicals to clean of the oxidation.

      Why would you want to stop it. It washes off in the shower or the sink. Next if your body chemicals Ala sweat is turning green from contact it means your sugar is to high or your pH is way off. So take care of your body and where copper because it's like a dip stick it helps you stay in check.

      to soften metal

    • @GA-Vic
      @GA-Vic 2 месяца назад

      Ok,I understand now. Heating the metal, causes it to be more pliable and easier to work with. I always had, a rather difficult time braiding wire before but I see how it would be less labor intensive!🤷

    • @keithrussell8778
      @keithrussell8778 Месяц назад +2

      It anneals the copper, this makes it more malleable, if worked too hard the copper will need annealing again

    • @juniorbeasley9671
      @juniorbeasley9671 23 дня назад

      Copper in the most non allergic metal there is also copper from this will bleach in and be one of the main trace minerals your body is required to have for healthy joint. Why do yiu think ppl wear copper, for the health benefits mainly and next because it looks cool.
      So of someone told you that you can't wear copper you'd look like you had polio and in a wheel chair if you where allergic to it.
      But Copper Brass Bronze and Nordic Gold are all Hypoallergenic. ✌️
