I love watching you actually craft jewelry by hand. While some wax casting is nice, there is just something fantastic about hand made. There is one ring I love, but don't own. Someone else had a replica made and it doesn't look even close to as amazing as the hand made original.

Wonderful! I recently made one of these as well but instead of soldering the links together to make it fixed piece I left it free flowing and is a very cool ring.

Think he explained In another video that he was training as an apprentice at a jewelers and he'd been saving up his wages for the whole time whilst he worked there. Then the company went bust and he used his savings to buy the majority of the companies tools and machines and thats what he initially started with. I imagine he's been upgrading bits since then though.
I think it took at least 10-15 years to achieve such mastery and equip the workshop with everything you need.

Why do you choose to bend the rings open when your making the chain and not just use the trick where you don’t have to bend them open at all but rather just hold the rings at 180 degrees to each other and then the cut ends will slip right past each other. I’m not sure exactly how to explain it but it works really well and saves the trouble of having to bend open the links which has saved me a decent amount of time when making longer chains. Great video as always keep up the great work
