The process of him hand making all those links is for show. Once all in that little pan you can clearly see he had all those links cast and not handmade. I know because I hand make jewelry and do CAD design. Still a good jeweler and an amazing video production though.
Each link welded one by one in laser welder, so that the chain has more movement range. The entire thing can be cast in sections, but the edges will not be crisp and not as uniform after polishing

He makes industry standard work but in addition has some unique concepts which are nicely incorporated into London street culture. The video production is on an unmatchable level. Respect!

I had no idea the amount of work it took to hand make each setting. It all depends on how big the diamonds are, and how long the customer wants their chain, also they might want custom links which can also affect that.
