Forgive my ignorance but what is the reason you're unable to sell them? Is it because of their rarety and you just don't want to sell them or is it more because of how they were sourced ie. 'Unethically'? Regardless, incredible work as always.

@6:51, is there a reason why you don't perforate the holders with smaller holes so that it can allow more light in from underneath, given that's also raised up? Does it affect the structural integrity?

I feel there is a design element that could be really interesting on a ring. Would it be possible to make the underside look like a creature that was holding the ring? Like the stone holders were scorpion claws and tail or octopus tentacles that crept around from the back of the ring? Just an idea I had as a non jeweller. Maybe there's a good reason I haven't seen it. lol

I have always wondered how much of the precious metals you loose from flying all over the workshop I know that you have that collecter under you and brushes and special vacumes and so on , but still what is the presentage loss on an avrage ? on a projekt like that ? material vise?

I've never worked in platinum, but that soldering is crazy!! How do you prevent the bezels from all falling apart when you solder them to the shank? I'm thinking platinum doesn't conduct heat as well as gold or silver so you can keep the heat more localized? Maybe platinum solder comes in a wider variety of melting points?
He works his way to the edges with different solders, using light solder last so the rest don’t heat up as quickly

How is it possible the solder does not remelt and the whole Ring just colabses???
Because with every heating a large area seems to glow just as red hot as the place the solder is supposed to connect🤔🤔🤔🔥
The solder has a lower melting ppoint than the metal on the pieces- in this case platinum!
