- Level 42 Live at Wembley, January 12 1989, BBC Radio 1 broadcast, featuring Mark King (bass, vocals) , Mike Lindup (vocals, keyboards), Alan Murphy (guitar), Gary Husband (drums), Krys Mach (sax), Annie McCaig (backing vocals).
Murphy absolutely on fire on this gig.
Al Murphy really was an amazing guitarist.
Too true a great band of musicians, feels like we have little left these days.
I saw Alan and Gary at the 1989 London Music Fair jamming with some other guys.
Alan looked sick but still killed it on guitar, also got Gary to sign some drums stick for me.
It really is a beautiful start for its over this is just one of the reasons why the 80s was the best decade ever for music level 42 amazing band unfortunately always underrated deserved better

Ed- thanks for posting this- absolutely great sounding gig, and Alan is incredible on this too. Wish this was available on CD!
I got a CD of them live at Wembley in 1989. Not sure if it was the same appearance, they played there so often, but I do know that Alan was part of the group on the CD I have.
@@OGBrawlerina I have that album on CD too. I also have the cassette and a three track promo of it. The album has 13 tracks and a dark green design.
great!
BIG GREAT !!!
That is the most beautiful start to its over I've ever heard but its the 80s great music great style we seemed to give a reverence back then nowadays music is shit now so we don't need to bother
The intro of "It's over" gives me goosebumps, ... always.
nice version of children say, and I like the original introduction to It's Over;
I can read the English bit and I agree with both comments!

Thank you very much for your comment James ! ;-)
