You can tell that Tina and Mozez were the singers who most felt the full force of this absolute machine behind them. They were levitated and THIS PERFORMANCE IS INCREDIBLE.
Zero 7 have accompanied me through real tough times in my life i never would have emotionally recovered so well without them. Crazy how music can do that.
Same here nowadays... Sometimes I cry over everything as I listen to their music and don't even know why it's happening cause the music is uplifting and wonderful... But it really helps! ❤
Incredible. They are always there for us. An album for every mood. They helped you in your divorce my man. And I've cried many times friend. Moon to let zero 7 mix totally breaks me. I love you all ❤
Same here. Every single of of their songs.. and especially this performance. Changed how my brain perceived what is possible in music and how it makes me feel.
This tour is why you go to live music. It was absolute magic. The singers were amazing and at the beginning of their careers. Band was really tight and hungry to play their great, if small, catalog. Mozez was Mozez. It was a moment in time that passed and can't be recreated even if they wanted to. Out of maybe 300 shows I've seen, this was the one were I felt lucky to be there every second because it was so clear how special the time was for them as artists and performers. And for the crowd as an audience. Transience can sometimes be sad - theirs was joyful at least for me.

Agree with so many of the comments here: this is just such a musically rich and wonderful show. Everyone on stage seems to be in love with the songs, clearly having a blast together with these unique, way-more-rich-than-they-might-seem songs. A band with no crazy pop hooks, no flash, not even a real frontman/frontwoman. Just sensational players creating a deep, transportive sound. I envy everyone who got to be there in person for it.
From the opening score of Olson by Boards Of Canada to the exit interview with Sia off to get sloshed and Tina going "home", this performance plays out like an award-winning feature concert film. Brilliant. Serene. Perfect.
This Folks was a band in its prime. Sublime vocals by 3 unique artists and perfect songs, this was pretty much the pinnacle for Zero 7. I hope to this day they somehow remember how to make music like this and dream they entice Sia, Sophie and Tina back for one last dance
I don’t know if it was the apex of their creativity… but the band pretty much fell apart after this, with Sophie and Sia both leaving. Wish they didn’t have to throw the baby out with the bath water.
the bass player has the best soul chops I've heard in 30 years, .... every loop through verse, chorus etc, .. his lines are different every time through, each one is unique.... plays from feel and creates a new line every time
Seems like there are a bunch of wildly talented musicians on that stage. The drumming is also wild. Henry and Sam obviously had a great eye for talent, their studio backgrounds obviously giving connections to some of the best studio musicians.
This is Gary .Paul its good to see more brothers expand their musical tastes. But it seems that Black groups get signed to only Rap music . We are truly multidimensional.
When i think Sia, ill always think zero7. Sad that zero7 isnt mainstream. But then, maybe thats part of why i like them. More talent and creativity than commercial, producer in the music, messing up the pure sound.
I love revisiting this performance, thanks to the uploader. I was 16 and in the crowd, this gig secured me as a Zero 7 fan for life. Cheers to Sam and Henry, still evolving their sound and still killing it 10 years on!

This music is my company since 2003. Had the luck to see them live here in Cologne on their "When it falls" tour. This music give me goosebumps even after I listend to it for like 216232 times. This music is a work of love and joy.
This is lovely, so disappointed I never got to see Zero 7 play. Hopefully the come to Australia again. Look at the lack of phones in the crowd. 2004 really doesn't seem that long ago, but so much has changed
What a magical intro. The transition from Olson into Warm Sound is just insane! Especially the little improvisation on the synth there. A great hommage to Boards of Canada!
I absolutely love this set. I have watched it about 7 or more times within the last 3 weeks. Never have I watched a live set this much. This era of Zero 7 was truly magical. Too bad I never got to see them in person.
I come back to this video all the time. I wish they'd tour with as many of these folks as they could get. Get Sophie and Sia and Tina and Mozez and whoever else is around, plus Jose and Lou and Jem Cooke... as many as are available, all and everybody they can. Even just a few specific tour dates of these songs would be killer. People would eat it up. Air's hitting the road, come on Zero 7! Your fans would go crazy. Fingers crossed.
Thanks so much for posting this. This was my Best Glastonbury moment of all time. I had never heard of them and just prior walked past Oasis on the main stage (edit: no that was the night before!) ... came into the new bands tent (edited: not the glade!) and had one of the best experiences of my life - this intimate gig and then onto a wonderful Glastonbury night until dawn. Never regained that feeling since - including this year. I fell in love with this sound right then and it's never gone away. Please do this again guys.
+D r Jezz Funny how 10 years can play tricks on the mind - Zero 7 were on Saturday night in the new bands tent, so Paul McCartney was on the Pyramid, Oasis were the previous night. I only know this because my friend was not at all impressed with missing Paul McCartney until Tina and Sia helped bring her 'round!
+Marc Yates Lol! Marc, you're so right - long time ago, but, the memory of the moment is still that it was the best Glastonbury night I ever had ... but hey, that's Glastonbury nights for you, eh? Was convinced it was the Glade for some unknown reason - probably because it's my favourite stage - still it really was sublime and thanks for reconditioning my memory! :)
+Unknown P Judging by the fact that Marc above had to remind me which exact night it was and where it was, I'd better not say any more! Just that it really was amazing and it was night time - like I said, that's Glastonbury for you :)
They were the headliners, so they would've started at about 10 or 10.30pm. I was waiting outside for them to start listening to the previous band (could've been The Killers?) and the sun had just finished setting.
Wow, Mozez, Tin D, Sophie and Sia with the boys?? This is truly an amazing given all of the nationalities of all of the performers and vocalists in this band. To get all of them on one stage??? Quite an accomplishment! The concern would have been incredible to witness first hand! Sure wish I could have been there. Thanks Rob Betcham for listing this killer concert!
I watch this once every year. Still just amazing as the first time seeing it. The insane nostalgia and longing for better times this creates inside are insane! Amazing piece of history right here xxx
This band is one of those gems that iTunes recommended after I bought something else. I would just drift off listening to Simple Things. Years later when Sia became popular, I can't even describe the feeling that came over me when I realized it was the same singer. All three ladies sound so good together. I've watched this concert video so many times. It's one of those performances that, if I could live the rest of my life inside this concert, I'd be content.
I’ve listened to this performance and the original recordings for so many years, and they’re still not wearing on me. Such amazing writing and performances
Maaan, they should definitely recover this, invite the same people and bring "Simple Things", "When It Falls" and "The Garden" to the road again! And what better occasion that the present - since they've been releasing special editions. :) I should be, at least, an Europe Tour with Portugal as one of the stops. :) Damnn.. it would be so awesome!
Great upload thank you kindly.. from the BOC Olson opening intro all the way thru Distractions this is a wonderful showcase of amazing musicians put together by Zero 7... acts like this are very far and few in between these days.

The first time with Jose Gonzallez but still had Sia hypnotic tones. I missed this era 2004 and wow what a concert. Thanks for sharing.I can fully understand bands have to evolve if Zero 7 were still producing these tracks from 2004 no one except us would listen and buy/download their material.Have to agree with the comment regarding Mozez overlooked and we all know why.
Todd Little wow, that sounds amazing.. was that back in '04? I've been a big fan since When It Falls but unfortunately never had the chance to cross paths and see them live.
Tina keeps the fire burning and the show on the go during the opening of the track Home , with her microphone reduced down, the manner that She continues through the fault is such a reflection , a glimmer at talent unrestricted in full flight. Beautiful moment in Glastonbury's Historical Past.

they don't need to be in the spotlight and benevolent critics ... ;-)
Totally
I was just about to say that !
I got to see them in 2006 (with Sia and Jose Gonzalez).....they were just incredible. I feel very lucky to have seen that line-up live!
@@BruceWiggins you can tell they were all in flow at this showing, what a joy to witness this kind of awe.

@EVERTONFC. They have an album with Swim Surreal and it's a good album. Hopes this makes your day.
