If they actually remove SBMM this game could totally bring back the 2007-2012 veterans. Until that happens, Cod will never relive the glory days. It's a shame because Blops 6 actually looks fantastic.
Doesn't make sense to me since xdefiant which as much as I love it, isn't anything new or exciting, has millions of players mainly due to no sbmm. I hope Activision take this to account since they do look somewhat intimidated by the competition shown by the fact they presented a reveal date, the day after xdefiant released.

@@_Titanium_ this exactly. people dont' want it removed entirely (unless they are idiots like the people running around in the hackerfest that is xdefiant), they want it toned down. if it was removed entirely, then you have no protection for noobs, which sucks (as a top 1%, i don't want to fight noobs. it sucks to ruin other peoples enjoyment of the game.), but rather we want it toned down so we don't get launched across the planet to 300 ping for a match set up specifically to force us to lose a win streak. eomm needs to be removed(this is the system that rigs matches like mentioned above.), sbmm toned down(this is the system that protects noobs) so we have balanced matches with a good bit of randomness, and no rigging. of course this won't happen, because the vast majority of players (aka, the ones that are protected by sbmm) prefer the rigged matches so they can win a few, lose a few, and keep playing with a 1.0 (or close) kd without sweating, no matter how good or bad they are. which sucks, but isn't surprising.

Cold War had a terrible post launch with few maps and modes, weapons,etc, but was leaps and bounds better after the new seasons content drops

The closest thing to understanding how the New Sprint movement system feels, is Killing Floor 2 but faster and diving backwards or at least on your back in first person is going to be like battlefield 5. Never understood why it took them this long to use that battlefield 5 prone system and get rid of the "prone block"? It made more sense for Infinity Ward since they don't have prone blocks.
I find it hilarious that there so proud to say “the prestige system is ready at launch” having a feature that you used to constantly put in on launch is now a feature we’re supposed to say good job to😂
Honestly this looks like it'll actually be good. I'll probably play both this and xdefiant. I really like the movement assist features. I don't plan on using them, but my husband isn't great at call of duty and it'll be great to see him moving around just like me and my other buddies on here.
My concern with this movement is having auto sprint on, then trying to strafe while aiming if it will make me sprint sideways and stop me from ads while strafing or even hipfire.
The thing that's annoying me is that Omnidirectional movement already existed if you had good movement mechanics. Its why we slide cancel and halo hop corners. doesn't seem like an upgrade to somebody who already knows how to dive backwards and 180 degree turn. These are things you could already do with good mechanics.
Movement assist sounds cool, can help bring the lower skill up a bit while still adding more to the top end. Im down and i have gamepass already anyways so i wony even have to spend a dime.

Hey if Drifty get in on this game (and maybe makes full in depth videos again) I'm all in for it. I like that they're actually changing stuff. The movement seems neat and reminds me a lot of Max Payne. I'll definitely be playing this.
Hopefully a penalty to over the top movement with more aim sway ,also rotaional aim assist active when moving to the direction where the enemy is going,not locking in either direction no matter what you do,good balance for better skill gap and good for each inputs,that would be an actual W but don't think it will ever happen.
This movement system means NOTHING if every one dies in 2-3 shots like in mw2019/2. High movement needs a slow ttk to go with it or the best option will still be to camp.
MWII did auto mantling assist already but with small obstacles like no higher than your waist. I didn’t like that feature but auto crouch and high mantle will make game faster and save your fingers.
The real problem is 3 months after the game comes out we will have people running around as unicorns

Hey if Drifty get in on this game (and maybe makes full in depth videos again) I'm all in for it. I like that they're actually changing stuff. The movement seems neat and reminds me a lot of Max Payne. I'll definitely be playing this.

Hopefully a penalty to over the top movement with more aim sway ,also rotaional aim assist active when moving to the direction where the enemy is going,not locking in either direction no matter what you do,good balance for better skill gap and good for each inputs,that would be an actual W but don't think it will ever happen.

This movement system means NOTHING if every one dies in 2-3 shots like in mw2019/2. High movement needs a slow ttk to go with it or the best option will still be to camp.

I’m hoping they keep tac stance from MW3 for BO6. That would be great.
MWII did auto mantling assist already but with small obstacles like no higher than your waist. I didn’t like that feature but auto crouch and high mantle will make game faster and save your fingers.
