Then I realized that’s the best way to play this game is to actually not run and gun like past cods cuz if the other team is holding angles you’ll most likely die cuz of fast TTk
I chuckled when you said ‘not man enough for this game’. As a fan since the BO2 days, and a player since then too, I’d have to agree. Especially also given the state of my hands. I think that sentence about being man enough is probably the best way to sum up this game. It’s tailored to a new generation. As much as it sucks for us oldheads, we probably need to concede we’re no longer the target audience we once were when we were younger. Definitely see your comparisons to BO3 a lot. In terms of movement fluidity through the map. I think CoD has now permanently shifted from lane dominance gameplay to movement/reaction based gameplay. Which is fine, I guess they’re trying to counter camping, which will always be a problem. I think as long as there isn’t any BS one hit weapons, this game will be fine. As soon as a game breaking shotgun or marksman/sniper rifle hits the deck, this game will be very frustrating to play. More so than old CODs given the skill gap in the movement.
As someone, who's willingly playing warzone on mnk, imma be honest, it feels exactly the same (shooting wise), omnimovement doesn't really change much, in my opinion in many instances it's actually easier to track people, cause diving in or sliding is very linear, so my brain can predict it, but to be honest it feels like crap playing it, u die in 4 shoots from SMGs, 30 meters away from people who just camp weird spots or headglitches, can't peek certain spots, cause u get killed from 4 bullets total from 3 different directions. I'm skipping this one for sure.
I was shredding lobbies without using much of the new movement. It isn't necessarily key to having any success. The risk can get you smoked 😅 I only used it when the chances were there. Only in certain situations. You'll get used to it. Everyone has to go through this phase so, I dont think anyone will be getting ahead by that much. It brought a few pros back down to earth thats for sure lol.
@@Diamond-ji2gvAh yes, because COD has always been known as a competitive franchise, with their most popular & competitive games like MW2 2009 and BO2. Noobtubes, 2 shot weapons, Target finders, etc, all highly competitive ❤️
@BackupReal real life is way worse XD but still cod is still fun if they skill gap is high. Otherwise we have another MW2 (2022) game where there is no skill gap
Why does everyone say the kill time is quick, I’ve had games where I’m on target and using more than half the clip to kill. Every gun but the xm4 really
rotational assist handles the increased movement well and with relatively smaller maps and relatively easy to control recoil a mouse's precision isn't really needed. A controller with paddles(especially something that has 4 placed in an ergonomic position) are going to absolutely smash default key binding keyboard in terms of consistent high apm button combos that omni movement demands. I would much prefer the two control input options be more of a choice than being so clear cut in favor of one
As a BO2 enjoyer, this game actually feels like they improved that game. I can see others being upset but it’s a skill issue. Modern warfare was the last game I actually had more than a day on and this cod will probably change that.
I wasn’t going to buy the game but as soon as you said mouse and keyboard was an afterthought… yeah I’m not even going to play the free beta next weekend now 😂
Nah I think it's fine tbh. I haven't played cod since bo3 on the ps3, since then I now use pc only, but have t played fps in many years, but it felt fine to me, I had to be quire attentive, and not casual, but it really wasn't that bad for me. Usually went 1.3-1.8 kd, which, again, as I pretty much haven't played any fps games for years, I am very happy with. I recommend using smgs or the rmx assault rifle (lvl 20 unlock or the recon default class), which really worked for me so far.
Well that's a stupid opinion. You won't try the FREE beta to form your own opinion, and instead will rely on the thoughts of a PC player on a sub par rig with coordination issues due to health. Seems foolish to me, but you do you BooBoo.
It was okay on mouse and keyboard but you can tell when playing that the Omni movement wasn’t meant for mouse or keyboard or just not thought about I don’t like the game personally even Cold War felt better to play and the movement was better if you like black ops 3-4 you’ll like this game if your a black ops 1-2 and Cold War then this isn’t it
Just played it, miserable on kbm. Idiots on controller that arent near as skilled are melting you in a tenth of a second. Worse than any of the other cods for kbm.
The movement system should make the game fun. The instant kill TTK makes it not matter. MW3 is the same way now with the last two SMGs they released, you can use any gun you want but they beam you down in 0.2 seconds and nothing can compete.
I meannnnnn… you’re playing against pros and streamers that prolly had the beta already preloaded and ready to go. Wait till Black Friday or even next weekend lol

I stop at "people don't really strafe on console" 😂😂😂
The vault edition players create the skill gap. Cyborg players focused on fancy side diving kills and constant hopping around.
8:01 appreciate the transparency
I was shredding lobbies without using much of the new movement. It isn't necessarily key to having any success. The risk can get you smoked 😅 I only used it when the chances were there. Only in certain situations. You'll get used to it. Everyone has to go through this phase so, I dont think anyone will be getting ahead by that much. It brought a few pros back down to earth thats for sure lol.
I love this game already. The speed and low AA has me in my wheelhouse
The bigger the skill gap the more happy I am with any game
That's it. Thats how COD should have stayed since people are so fragile
@@Diamond-ji2gvAh yes, because COD has always been known as a competitive franchise, with their most popular & competitive games like MW2 2009 and BO2. Noobtubes, 2 shot weapons, Target finders, etc, all highly competitive ❤️
@@BackupRealexactly, this new generation will never understand the meaning of FUN
that's why bo3 and bo4 are better than mw2 and bo2
@BackupReal real life is way worse XD but still cod is still fun if they skill gap is high. Otherwise we have another MW2 (2022) game where there is no skill gap
it all sounds pretty promising for me, a mostly (at least physically) healthy person hehe. thanks drift0r!
I’m glad you’re aging along with us friend!
It’s okay, not really that much of a stress on hands, but I can’t wait to see the new tactics on competitive!
Skill gap and sbmm nice combo
The omni movement this has got CoD so cracked out it's ridiculous. Wish they'd go back to classic movement tbh.
That was mw2 so probably the next infinity ward game
@kyrukun Nah, classic cod had much more faster and responisive movement, you could strafe and ADS so much faster in most 360 cods.
@@deathtrooper2048 yeah your probably right I played when I was like 10 so I don't remeber much haha
Thank u cod for never looking out
I've really enjoyed the beta so far
smooth af game, new maps although it can be more vibrant like bo3...
Am I the only one that feels sprint and tactical sprint is the same speed, or am I bugging
the Performance Stutters you spoke about where very present in Series X as well so i think it might be at least partially server side issues as well.
They better let pc players turn off crossplay on launch!
What cod are you playing in the video? And are guns with ridculous camos like that in all cod games now?
As a BO2 enjoyer, this game actually feels like they improved that game. I can see others being upset but it’s a skill issue. Modern warfare was the last game I actually had more than a day on and this cod will probably change that.
Lets not forget that were also playing against some people who have been playing the leaked PS4 build for weeks!
This game sucks.
💯
The movement system should make the game fun. The instant kill TTK makes it not matter. MW3 is the same way now with the last two SMGs they released, you can use any gun you want but they beam you down in 0.2 seconds and nothing can compete.
I really love how the game plays! It feels like an action movie sometimes!
I meannnnnn… you’re playing against pros and streamers that prolly had the beta already preloaded and ready to go. Wait till Black Friday or even next weekend lol
Gun leveling is a bit of a grind. I maxed out the character rank yesterday and haven't event scratched the surface of unlocking most accessories.
I’m so happy COD is finally doing something new. I’ve literally skipped the last 5 games because they were just copies of each other. This looks far more fun. I watched your livestream, and you were more concerned with where to get a good thumbnail shot for your next video than with actually getting to know the new movement system. Maybe that’s why it wasn’t enjoyable for you?
lol I went out the window diving sideway too! 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
Ah yes another full release beta test with sbmm that we pay full price for
Not with Game Pass.
No one on Xbox that has game pass is paying full price for this game. A nice perk of having game pass is the beta today also. But if your Pc or PS yes I agree with you
@@BalkanGames okay so worse, a subscription service
@@peterwoodaman5936 subscription services are even worse than owning a product...unfortunately you can still pay full price and only own the rights to play the game
@@iLikeCarsFPS It's $20 to play the closed beta vs $70 to play it. The former is a better deal even if you only care about playing it as early as possible.
I don't think my carpal tunnel can handle this one chat
Jackal Ops 6
better than call of mp5
It’s ok.
But I’m a Zombies player mostly, so I wasn’t really upset with how fast I died.
It was hilarious how much fun the HVT mode was.
I’m nowhere near anything that resembles good just yet but I am really enjoying how the game feels and I’m actually excited to get my hands on the full game unlike the last few years of cod.
“TTK is incredibly fast”
Aaaaaaaaaand that’s the last straw for the Black Ops series.
I mean, it's not, lol
That was like one of the only things it still has going for it lmao
it still feels slower than any iw or sgh game but its could still use some slowing down
@@Chrissy717Driftor does this as a job and says it was fast. You think you're right?
black ops 1 average ttk was 3 shots I know damn well you weren't complaining back then
My first 15 matches I have straight victories and 2kd.
I run a 4070 super with an i7-10700k and get 165 fps solid on absolutely maxed settings with no upscaling. 250+ at low settings with DLSS. Performance has been fantastic tbh
Nah, just pull out the jackal like the whole lobby and you’ll fine.
Can we please tell trey arch to give option for seperate keypad inputs for dive and slide? Something that simple would really make a difference
just for reference I suppose. Can you share your PC build/specs?
Always been a player who enjoyed strafing like stalker or stalk, and I know I’ll be a beast at this, I can only imagine strafing while shooting and running while jumping to the side and turn into prone after that. I’m ready!
It's cold sore with omnimovement 🤣
Missed you drift0r. I hope you get better soon.
If you are getting this shrekt I have no idea how someone like me who plays shooters on average 10 days a year would cope.
SBMM is designed to protect players like you, so you will be fine.
My only real complaint so far is I wish tac stance was more like MW3 and not tied to certain laser attachments. I feel like there was no reason to change that aspect of the game. And I just picked up all the MW reboot games like a month ago, and it's the best addition to the games.
Mw19 is easily the best one imo. Feels like bo2 with the best gun list. Plus the UI isn’t trying to be ultra modern like mw2/3 and this game
@@kevinmenard6792 only played the story on MW1-2, only multiplayer on 3 so far. Honestly took me a bit to figure out how to tac stance. But yeah Blops2 is my favorite, 6 isn't bad it flows nicely, really does need 3's tac stance tho. Haven't really found a favorite sub on MW3 tho.
I hope they give full hud customization on blops6 on release, the presets are a decent step in the right direction, but none of them are how I would set it up. I'll probably get to 2019 mp eventually, and MW2, I just been grinding guns/skins on MW3 haven't even touched campaign yet. Or Cold War whatsoever. Don't even own Vanguard yet. But I own all the 360 titles. I just stopped playing CoD for years, it was on sale a bit ago, so I figured I'd pick them up to get ready for 6.
This game is amazing. Omni movement needs to be a golden standard for now on.
