- Call of Duty Black Ops 6 beta is out and I streamed BO6 gameplay. I immediately noticed that Black Ops 6 has a high skill gap relating to the omnimovement. The skill ceiling for this game is extremely high and the learning curve is brutal. This Black Ops 6 multiplayer gameplay highlight is my best game from the live stream. The Black Ops 6 beta also has lobby issues, graphical issues, and some weird texture streaming problems.

Honestly i've come to the realization that this community isn't really happy about anything anymore. They add new stuff and people complain, they revert back and people complain. If they remaster BO2 people will still find a way to complain. CoD has become a punching bag.

@@ryhcky activision learned their lesson. Gave us what we wanted in Blops2 and never did that again. Pick 10 was not allowed in blops6 because they have to hold something for the next game. Dangle the carrot.
They don’t revert back to the classic gameplay/system that works. We don’t need innovative new features that take away from core gameplay.
as a fellow gamer with somewhat crippled hands i feel you- i’d love to play and learn the new movement etc but bo6 might be too taxing on my bones health lol

@@lordofnuttz101 iirc he had a tick born illness that basically just destroyed his nervous system and joints, among other things, for many years before it was figured out and treatment was started.
I give it 4 days before Omni Movement is completely broken by the sweats.

I don’t think it will honestly. Movement makes it much harder to aim. The “movement kings” that trying to trick shot are getting stomped on in my games.
It just seems like it gets sweatier and sweatier every cod instalment
Gotta say my main issue with most "movement" cods is the movement is essentially breaking the game to get it to do what you want. Slide canceling doesnt feel intuitive. Whereas omni movement gives you the tools mechanically then asks you to creatively use them in the desired way you want it.
I hopped on the beta and went ham instantly. Felt like Cold War on steroids.
Assisted kills are back also to even out SBMM. Nice feeling when you give someone 5 shots and then move on and get the kill a few seconds later. It makes going 8 and 24 with 14 assists on MW3 a thing of the past.
I was curious if the EKIA system would be back in this game as it was in the last two Treyarch titles. Good to know.

EKIA was not good when every assist is counted, but when more than half the damage was done by me, i should get some more recognition

@@Weather_Nerd my point was.. with assisted kills you may not get absolutely throttled anymore when SBMM is ramped up because you’ll get credit for kills that would be assists in cod games the last few years
I think we have come to a point where the movement in CoD has gotten so quick that it is just insanity at this point. Learning how to move around quickly like a crackhead is more important that positioning and gunskill in CoD nowadays.
Movement and position are synonymous. Gun Skill is also still king. You see how far moving like a 'crackhead' without gun skill gets you.

They needed this. COD has become boring and repetitive. We need some kind of movement system to further the skill gap and make things more interesting. Personally, I wanna see an Advanced Warfare 2

@@pete5670 I couldn't agree more! Movement and widening the skill gap is a touchy subject, but I love omni-movement. Sure, it takes time to get used to, but it's becoming natural for me.
I really want an AW 2! That was one of the games I ground, especially since it was the last game to have clan wars. I wasn't too mad about the variants, and the game was overall just fun. This is what I miss in today's CoD. The graphics and war-like stuff are cool and all, but CoD is always about a "fun" arcade-style shooter. The color palette on Bo6 also has a refreshing touch.

No matter what, people will never be happy with new call of duty games. We had the good old days but people need to realise that time has passed. Everyone is so focused on finding flaws and reasons to complain that they dont realise they could just be having fun playing.

Ah its really not. The diving is good but it's not going to get you crazy wins unless you're playing the worst players which of course most streamers will be doing. They've been doing it since MW2019 and won't stop.
Warzone servers still 20hz, peekers advantage will be even worse now.

Have you looked into adaptive controllers? They're generally designed to help those who have physical disabilities whether it be weekend muscle or even missing limbs.

if you feel like playing it will risk your health in any way then just dont. ill stick around for pretty much whatever you put out regardless. with that being said i quite liked it.

Yes because a dev would intentionally design the gameplay of the whole game around their matchmaking system. This is the level of Brain Rot in the COD community. Somehow it's only COD babies who think they should only play against weaker opponents. I have suggestion for you, try Weenie Hut Jrs.

I was having a great time on mnk, 1 issue is mag zoom scopes turncap your sens speed. Probably a a bug
Glad someone else noticed that. I tried to snipe and my aim felt so weird. Especially during the transition from hip fire to ADS I could hardly move my scope and in scope it felt extremely slow.

3 maps spawns suck get pinched a lot of times. i accept my aim sucks sometimes but when my kill feed says im mostly dying to 2-3 people i get upset because i cant leave spawn because you can typically just walk in the spawn before they flip. I gave up on the game until the full game actually comes out

1st sesh on mnk ended pretty well, just have to adapt and adjust some settings as I continue to play. First handful of games I was dead last, by the time i was finishing up i was getting 40+ and even got 53 to end. Session #2 with my friends is about to start. Hope you all have some GGs

nobody cares about campaign, good recycled content, best and highest skill gap ttk, great maps, great zombies that has infinitely more personality character and originality than anything made after warzone, literally just pick stimshot and press the button, best microtransaction system, a good maddox/paladin/saug/cordite can compete with any dlc weapon, best battle royale in cod

honestly had high hopes having not watched multiplayer. This is easily the least black-ops feeling game ever. 4 years for a copy-paste of MW3, played the beta and was the least I've played of any beta so far.

This what I wanted a learning curve to the movement I know I wasn’t the only one who wanted this to me this is amazing exactly what I’ve been asking for this movement allows a lot of creativity to the player so get creative practice learn get good
Game has been fun, on kbm im struggling a little but im looking foward to getting better and learning the movement when release comes.
I was shredding lobbies without using much of the new movement. It isn't necessarily key to having any success. The risk can get you smoked 😅 I only used it when the chances were there. Only in certain situations. You'll get used to it. Everyone has to go through this phase so, I dont think anyone will be getting ahead by that much. It brought a few pros back down to earth thats for sure lol.
the Performance Stutters you spoke about where very present in Series X as well so i think it might be at least partially server side issues as well.

Gun leveling is a bit of a grind. I maxed out the character rank yesterday and haven't event scratched the surface of unlocking most accessories.

rotational assist handles the increased movement well and with relatively smaller maps and relatively easy to control recoil a mouse's precision isn't really needed. A controller with paddles(especially something that has 4 placed in an ergonomic position) are going to absolutely smash default key binding keyboard in terms of consistent high apm button combos that omni movement demands. I would much prefer the two control input options be more of a choice than being so clear cut in favor of one

As someone, who's willingly playing warzone on mnk, imma be honest, it feels exactly the same (shooting wise), omnimovement doesn't really change much, in my opinion in many instances it's actually easier to track people, cause diving in or sliding is very linear, so my brain can predict it, but to be honest it feels like crap playing it, u die in 4 shoots from SMGs, 30 meters away from people who just camp weird spots or headglitches, can't peek certain spots, cause u get killed from 4 bullets total from 3 different directions. I'm skipping this one for sure.
I really dont know how to like keep up on controller with all of the movements i feel like i can only put in so much input into the controller and it wont do it all. But maybe I just need a new controller?

I run a 4070 super with an i7-10700k and get 165 fps solid on absolutely maxed settings with no upscaling. 250+ at low settings with DLSS. Performance has been fantastic tbh
I feel if you have been playing MW3 Small Map Mosh pit, great training ground for BO6 as far as reaction, chaos, etc.
I promise its just the Kbm vs controller thing you mentioned. This game just has alot of screen shake and flinch effects. Its not really made for kbm when against controller. Anecdotal but, my 2nd controller game i went 72-18 and my 1st keyboard and mouse game i went 10-32. Im usually pretty good at kbm..
If you get a controller id recommond one with the back triggers; i switched from xbox to ps5 with pro controller and how easy it is to dive/crouch or sprint is on another level imo. Instead of having to press down on a thumbstick potentially ruining your aim or taking your thumb off joystick to press a button.
How does the gameplay and combat feel compared to MW3 ?
it run at more then 140 fps for me on my 4060 laptop. but then again i did have dlss on ultra and frame gen on. however i am playing on absolutely max graphics too at 1080p

its nowhere near those levels of complex, but if you want a really fast paced high skill game then maybe try out the beta at least

After playing a good bit, while the movement is fun, I feel most are going to turn off the movement assists and do a lot less diving than the game expects players to utilize.

hit reg is broken bullets take like 1 second to hit and you shoot first and die then the killcam shows they shoot first on there screen that has been the worse so far

Bro i tried the training course. More rage inducing then sweaty games. I tried the dive to right thing and i kept failing because it's literally impossible for me to get shots on the target while diving

Always been a player who enjoyed strafing like stalker or stalk, and I know I’ll be a beast at this, I can only imagine strafing while shooting and running while jumping to the side and turn into prone after that. I’m ready!
The movement system should make the game fun. The instant kill TTK makes it not matter. MW3 is the same way now with the last two SMGs they released, you can use any gun you want but they beam you down in 0.2 seconds and nothing can compete.
CoD died after BO2. This game looks like an expansion for Cold War. How did it take them 3 years to make this? They made Cold War from home and it literally looks the exact same. In 4 years they made absolutely no advances just this gimmick OMNI MOVEMENT which will be dropped for CoD 2025. Couple this with the thicccc SBMM this game is just going to give you a headache. I’m glad I got to enjoy CoD from CoD4 MW - BO2. Those were the days and these new CoDs will never come close.

Honestly this game feels like you can run and gun a bit but the most optimal way to play is basically like siege. Hold angles, ADS wide / short peak, prefire people, it definitely feels alot different than the other cods

That’s what exactly I felt like playing yesterday, I couldn’t understand at first why I kept getting killed. I first blamed it on people camping and holding angles the whole game. Then I realized that’s the best way to play this game is to actually not run and gun like past cods cuz if the other team is holding angles you’ll most likely die cuz of fast TTk

The vault edition players create the skill gap. Cyborg players focused on fancy side diving kills and constant hopping around.

As a BO2 enjoyer, this game actually feels like they improved that game. I can see others being upset but it’s a skill issue. Modern warfare was the last game I actually had more than a day on and this cod will probably change that.

I really would prefer to play this game on ps5, but playing the ps5 beta today the controls just feel so limited because of the fixed number of buttons on the controller. I really want to see if the mnk controls will be better bc that might push me to get the game on pc instead
