Thanks for the help. The children's director wanted to be able to show a video with song motions on the main screen and the stage screen so the kids performing could see the motions and follow along.
We want to do this as well. Show the song motions or video on the confidence screen while showing lyrics for the audience on the main audience screens.
Thanks for the helpful video! Now our choir can see all the videos we show without having to turn around. Not sure if this works for you, but it did for us: once I had the stage display template set up, I was able to "add an action / stage display " for any one song/video on my playlist and it will automatically play full screen on my stage display. It seems a good option rather than having to switch back and forth between macros.
You can drag and drop those macros onto the slide instead of having to do multiple clicks to set up the action again and again. So, they're like saved actions. That's what I'd do.
Create a placeholder screen with an alternate theme to show it full screen. Then make a stage screen layout with a screen preview of the placeholder. It’s the same procedure as showing a video on the stage screen only.
@@PaulClifford Again, I admire your videos and learned a lot from them. Is there any specific video I can look for this tutorial of adding a place holder?. What is the best USB display port I can use for my computer (Windows 11)
@@PaulClifford I have both PP6 and PP7 in full version activated as well and want to use PP6 for screen while PP7 will be for LIVE only? Can PP7 do all from one computer to screens and do live as well? I have MacBook Pro
Just wondered, I added a 'main out mirrored' stage screen in screen configurations. Does it need to be 'linked' to the 'main out' screen also? I have created the 'main out mirrored' using the stage editor. I tested it on the computer and works fine. but at the church, using the stage screen, it does not mirror on stage screen.
So, you do need to link it in the stage >edit layout because it will be different for each computer. So, probably just editing that and linking it to the screen at church will fix it.
I have three cameras sources switching between them with hotkeys but I can't see what I'm switching to until I switch it I need to be able to preview what I'm switching is there a way to do that
Easiest way is to have a stage screen layout that shows all your live video sources at once and show that on an operator’s screen in the preview and/or on an external display.
@@highlandsassemblypastorsra5358 what part can I clarify for you? I should note that pro6 could show something equivalent to a screen preview, it was lower resolution, and not as flexible.
@@PaulClifford you lost me the moment you started not explaining what you were doing and fiddling with settings whilst not speaking and assuming we knew what you were doing
I've got one for that coming. It's a different process. This was for people who didn't understand how to show the video that was on an audience screen on a stage screen, too.
@@PaulClifford - Did you end up making that video? That's what I'm trying to figure out how to do. I'd like a video on stage display for kids to see (for motion purposes) while audience main screens either has a motion background, still background or even no background (so they aren't seeing the kids motion background video).

@@PaulClifford Ah, that makes sense! I'm new to macros, so thank you!
that was extremely helpful for our Churches VBS. Thank you for the step-by-step tut😁
Glad to help.
Thanks for explaining this to me as well, hours of frustration bypassed !
But what I want is a video on the stage display while SOMETHING ELSE is on the main screen.
THANK YOU so much! You saved us hours of frustration! :)
Here is what I want:
Main screen show lower third Lyrics while Stage screen (left and right) shows Full screen with image background

Hi, how do i show bilingual lyrics on the stage display with another language and english itself
Both? You could add linked text to each text box. That would do it for sure.
Thank you very much, this helped out a lot! God bless.

Awesome!!!!! Thank you
You’re welcome! Happy to help.
The only screen previews I have are desktop and stage screen 1
Did you add a placeholder screen in the configure screens area first?
Yes, but when I hover over the add screen preview button, I only have the option to do desktop or stage screen 1
So different we’re about can using app 7
Did autocorrect mess up that sentence? Pro7 is different in how it looks and acts from pro6, for sure.
@@PaulClifford yes auto correct took its toll once again. Just frustrating with such major changes in pro 7 with only complicated explanations.

That was very confusing. Even your moving video used as an example. I cannot tell that it was a moving video.
No clear instructions for the learner. You lost yourself for several minutes and left us hanging in uncertainty as to what you were doing!
Where did I lose you? Maybe I can clarify.
@@PaulClifford you lost me the moment you started not explaining what you were doing and fiddling with settings whilst not speaking and assuming we knew what you were doing
Title is a little deceiving. I believe most people reading this would think you mean a separate video file, or video from the web.
