NDI IS AMAZING! I just used it the other day to send the output of Pro7 from a laptop to a different laptop running Resolume Arena for my Lyric Strip. I've had no experience with NDI Encoders and Decoders because they are quite expensive. But I imagine they work well. I'd still stick with SDI Cable & Converters for your Stage Display runs due to price.
You will have to either update Windows, or purchase a new computer. Pro7 has a minimum system requirements listed on there website. I updated an of Mac mini the other day, that was 7 operating systems behind and Pro7 would not run lol! -Nathan
Hi, nice video! Do you have any video or Could you help how to have the songs with chords on stage for the musicians using multitracks like the playback app?..thanks
Man thanks for the video! I'm having a lot of trouble to understand why I can't setup our TV to show the lyrics for the worship team... Our main led panel is connected through my laptops hdmi and the TV is connected on my laptops mini display but the windows only recognize the main led display, the mini display only will show if I unplug the hdmi from the main led panel... Any thoughts? If possible I would like to have a formal communication with you to understand better my setup... Thanks!
Check this out. discussions.apple.com/thread/2180106?answerId=10348312022#10348312022 Have you tried using a different adaptor? Sometimes adaptors cause weird stuff to happen. Are you sure there isn't a weird thing with your model computer that doesn't allow both Display Port and HDMI to be used at the same time.
I tried a usb-c to hdmi with the same result. If I connect the mini display to hdmi alone with the TV, everything works fine, the same with the hdmi to our main led display, the issue is when I try both at the same time... It's frustrating brother...
Good stuff. Thanks
great content... thank you for the quick clear pro tips :)
I'm Glad the Video was helpful! -Nathan

Good video but what about NDI now. NDI can also provide multiple connections to monitors. What's your thoughts about NDI and converters

I don't currently, But now there is a Video coming soon to answer that question.
Could you do a video on scrolling text?
Sure. Could you tell me more about the application you’d like to use Scrolling text? Send me an email, CrazyAmazingNathan@gmail.com
I need to display a message on a specific slide for my musicians on stage, can I do that on just one slide at some point during the worship song
Yes, Check out my video that looks at Song Chords on slides in Pro7. You can use that technique to add a message to a specific slide.
Question: Can I go out from computer through HDMI splitter, to send stage display to tv and main display to projector?
No. Each individual display output must go straight from the computer. Splitters will only duplicate the signal coming out of the computer. -Nathan
