Might? lol what are you some Samurai noob. Kenshin is more like a cartoon compared to this. Next you are going to say Keanu Reeves’ Ronin is almost as good. Dork 😂
wow, in the last shoot of this scene we can realize that grafitti was not born among the black people of new york in 70's and 80's years of 20 century but in Japan in Edo age 😮😄 naah, super cool scene, for sure george lucas have the inspiration in this scene for the darth vader-obi wan kenobi duel in the death star in the fourth episode cos the shoots was super similar
Carl, graffiti was around in ancient Rome, Egypt, sumeria, it's not a modern phenomena. Furthermore lucas got most of his ideas for star wars by watching Japanese cinema,
Protagonist was an idiot for not just letting this guy go. Also, never got the full story on why he personally decided to kill Renko in the first place.
He had no choice, he was employed as a bodyguard for their clan chief. He was told that the man trespassing their house was the brother of the lord of the rival clan who came to kill his employer. As for Renko, she was a mistress who abused her relationship with the old clan chief and was bringing shame to their whole clan in the eyes of the court by openly flaunting their relationship and usurping the legal wife's place in the formal clan ceremonies. No one in their clan had the guts or moral fortitude to correct this travesty so he decided to act to save their clan's reputation by killing her and fully expecting to be executed for it afterwards.
Depends on location. If the location is an open area, the one with the shorter blade would lose. If it's in an area with tight spaces, the one with the shorter blade has a higher chance of winning due to the one with the longer blade is more likely to get his sword stuck in some places.
I’m willing to bet white hands typed this.
Good movie I have watched it a couple of times and shared and yea. 1 of the good authentic looking samurai films 🎥!
Ngl this might top rurouni Kenshin. The rawness of this fight , the scenery, everything.
Them kenshin movies ain’t all that, they too flashy kind of lame
Bruh did you just compare a live action movie based on anime? That movie don't even come close to the rawness that many samurai movies have.
Kenshin is an anime - live action. You can not compare them
Might? lol what are you some Samurai noob. Kenshin is more like a cartoon compared to this. Next you are going to say Keanu Reeves’ Ronin is almost as good. Dork 😂
Just goes to prove, it’s not the length of the tool but the power of the stroke
Gold comment
Sad when two good men have to fight to the death
damn, only fighting with a wakizashi.
epic.
Well they are indoors, shorter blade is better.
twilight samurai also quite epic
The bird's nest technique...
Now the tough part. Cleaning up.

04:20 lol epic shot!
If this was anime, these guys won't have black hair and lightning bolts would come out from their swords 😆😆😆
Wakizashi Expert WIND the fight
That short sword style is called the toda style.taught in the military school called the chudjo school in Western Japan during the sengoku Jadai era.
June 12, 1764 Japan on watching TV?

Excelente! .
The guy in blue actually held back so not to hurt the spoiled brother of the lord who as all spoiled guys insisted on fighting and lost
beautiful!
A beautiful conversation.
If 18th century is Japan on Tokugawa shogunate night day?
Aww the cool guy died.
This fight shouldn’t have happened, but the main character was too dumb to realize he was being used.

movie's name ?
Sword of desperation
This is the refined authentic Japanese. Tarantino may direct the overacting Tom Cruise in a sequel to 'The Last Samurai'.
kinda gehey. They start undressing in front of each other, than try to 'stick' each other with their 'weapons.' Definitely undertones of teh gehey.
Japanese formal wear gets in the way of sword fighting. It's intended to. Those big divided skirts are an excellent example.
@@stevetheduck1425 Stop - you're making too much sense and interfering with the troll.
there is no way you can win someone whose blade is twice the length of yours

Of course it's possible ( yet risky af) , especially in such a confined environment.
