    About Kaeya being "last hope", I don't think his father had any grand expectations from Kaeya.
    Topping the heavens? Destroying the Abyss Order? Nope, that's not something that a kid without a plan can do.
    But if Kaeya is the last pure-blood Kaenri'an, or at least the last of Alberich clan not affiliated with the Abyss, then his survival in the world above has a lot of meaning for his father. It means that their bloodline will be preserved. And perhaps someday Kaeya and his descendants will prove themselves worthy successors and do something that will overshadow the failures of Kaenri'ah and clan Alberich.

    Considering Khaenri'ah is supposedly the last stop on our journey, my theory is either the Traveler goes back in time to stop the original calamity, or that Khaenri'ah is still alive and well or at least has been brought back secretly underground, aka where the God's gaze does not fall. It will be very interesting to see what that chapter will be like. I just want more Celestia lore before the literal end of the main story, but I feel we won't get it until Khaenri'ah releases. In that quest in the desert with the pari and that giant tree ( the same part of the desert where the door to kanriah is) there’s documents you can find that mention a descendent of Hadura, (who was one of the schwannenritter.) Since he was a descendent, he was seemingly an ordinary human. So I think the theory that the cursed could produce uncursed children is correct, and kanriah still has a small, dwindling population of these descendants. Their living conditions are pretty rough I bet, probably similar to the eremites living deep in the desert, who are also remnants of a destroyed kingdom.

    I really enjoy this idea, i think at the end of the day the abyss and celestia are both very grey in their presentation (Celestia is show rn to be a bit for evil, but in the lore they would be in that grey area). This was a good video. The idea that kaeya is a alberich (Heavy force on riCH) spy/ final hope to take out the abyss is an idea i havent really seen before but makes alot more sense to be compared to him being sent there as a kid with the hopes of spreading the abyss some how. After all, hes an agent of Khaenri'ah, not the abyss, Its safe to say that they are different factions.

    FINALLY MORE THEORIES ABOUT THE ALBERICH CLAN’S OPPOSITION TO THE ABYSS ORDER!!!
    Also, a few extra Kaeya notes that weren’t mentioned in this video (understandably so, mind you, this was a very nice bite-sized and easily-digestible theory video, very much appreciated) but that I feel inclined to mention due to my excessive Kaeya brainrot:
    1. There may be no mention of Kaeya being skinny/underweight when Crepus found him (though that hasn’t stopped fans like me from headcanoning it), but Adelinde does confirm in Kaeya’s hangout that Kaeya was often sick as a child. This could mean that his immune system just wasn’t used to Teyvat’s illnesses, even its most common ones, since he had probably been born & raised for the first couple of years in his life in Khaenri’ah. That said (please take this with a grain of salt because I’m no medical professional), malnutrition can also lead to a weakened immune system and greater vulnerability to catching viral illnesses. So there is a possibility that Kaeya was in fact underfed when Crepus first found him, and thus that Khaenri’ah’s surviving population is living in very harsh conditions. And besides, that’s actually precedented in Khaenri’ah’s history! It’s established in the lore (I forget where, feel free to check the wiki for sources) that Khaenri’ah used the art of Khemia in order to make food, because the region of Khaenri’ah just doesn’t have the resources to grow food naturally. So the point is that Khaenri’ah, even at its height, had trouble when it comes to food, so it really wouldn’t be out of the question for the now-fallen Khaenri’ah 500 years later to face a similar problem. Ergo, it is possible that Kaeya was a smol skinny bab who needed food, even if that hasn’t been explicitly mentioned (yet).
    2. In the Caribert quest, it is HEAVILY implied that Kaeya is NOT a pureblood Khaenri’ahn. We get a good look at his star-shaped pupils in that quest, as well as Dainsleif’s and Chlothar’s, and thus we can see that their star-pupils are larger and clearer than Kaeya’s. Even Halfdan’s star-pupils are more like Dainsleif’s (therefore indicating him being a pureblood Khaenri’ahn) than Kaeya’s. Not to mention every Khaenri’ahn we have seen so far (except maybe Pierro but it’s hard to tell considering he was in dark lighting) was white, and 2/3 of them were pale-haired. Kaeya is not, his complexion is tanned and his hair is dark blue. In fact, his traits of darker skin & dark blue hair bear more of a resemblance to Candace, Setaria (a Sumeru desert-dweller NPC we interacted with a lot in the Sumeru archon quest) and even Jeht & her father (2 more Sumeru desert-dweller NPCs). Combine that with his star-pupils being different from the confirmed pureblood Khaenri’ahn star-pupils, and it seems extremely clear that Kaeya is half-Khaenri’ahn, with his father most likely being Khaenri’ahn and his mother likely originating from Teyvat (most likely Sumeru).
    3. In Kaeya’s hangout, during the route where Kaeya takes part in a play, he resonates a lot with the main character, a prince who’s father is bent on warmongering while as he (the prince) wants to pursue peace between his and another nation, and Kaeya ultimately improvises just a bit during the play, declaring that he won’t be a pawn in Heaven’s plan and he won’t take part in a plan that will continue endless war & the deaths of innocents. Others including myself have concluded that this alludes to Kaeya ultimately pursuing peace, seeking a way to build peace between Mondstadt & Khaenri’ah and therefor embrace all the best parts of his heritage, and standing against those who would generate more war in Teyvat. This can include the Abyss Order, who are still attempting plans to fight against Celestia and who are wreaking havoc in Teyvat and whose actions lead to the harm & death of innocents. So this is more fuel for the theory that Kaeya’s mission is to take down the Abyss Order, though it’s a bit uncertain if this mission came from his father or if it’s the mission that Kaeya will personally take up.

    Considering your great love for The Primordial One I have been wondering about your opinions on the parallels between The Primordial One and Decarabian.
    They are both beings who loved their humans and show that love by keeping them away from danger, but they fail to realise that humanity will always strive for freedom before safety. Well Decarabian build to squash the rebellion and The Primordial One definitely succeeded in all accounts. They seem to be parallels to each other. It could be why The Primordial One allowed him to isolate himself completely instead of continuing on in the war. Or not, Venti, very well could’ve just been sent there in part to continue the war.
    Either way, I would love to hear your thoughts on their similarities and differences.

    • @DawitsLookingforEmilia
      @DawitsLookingforEmilia  6 месяцев назад +1

      the parallels between are indeed apparent.
      Decarabian entrapped old Mondstat in a fierce layer of wind so as to protect the people from the cold. Whilst Phanes is (seemingly) trapping people in so as to protect them from the rest of the universe. They both believe what they were doing was best for humanity, but I think the biggest different is perception and scale. The feeling of being "trapped" goes a long way towards how something is perceived.
      What I mean by this is its a lot different being trapped in a city vs being trapped on an entire planet. The people felt their movement being restricted in old mondstat, because leaving the city is something anyone can do. On the otherhand, planes dont exist in teyvat, they couldnt leave Earth even if they wanted to. I also think the overall goal is another thing to consider, Decarabian through up a barrier to shelter his people from the cold, which is a minor inconvience at best. Phanes threw up the border to preserve the entire human race. But yes thy are similar in some regards

    I really want to entertain the idea that Khaenri’ah’s Destruction was done accidentally … by their King, Irmin Eclipse.
    A fun thing I learned about Dynasties is that they are named after the King’s Family name. So King Irmin, who ruled during the Eclipse Dynasty, comes from the Eclipse family. And since Anfortas Alberich took over, the Eclipse Dynasty ended, and the Alberich Dynasty began.
    And since our Abyss Sibling is the Heir of the Abyss Order which was organized by Chlothar Alcerich, our Sibling can indeed be considered an heir to the Alberich Dynasty … however, we’re also told that Chlothar already recognized our sibling as a Prince/Princess, so … our sibling was at one point, the Heir to the Eclipse Dynasty. This is why the sibling refers to Khaenri’ah as their homeland, and we identify our home as something else.
    This indicates that our sibling isn’t a Descender because they possess an inheritance of this world … a fundamental inheritance, a Throne.
    We see Neuvillette create a new Throne not for an Archon, but for a Sovereign, and this … goes with no problem, and in fact, even continues to bestow Visions in Fontaine. (Furina’s Vision casing proves that the Thrones bestow all visions in their own respective Nation. Furina’s coincidentally happened to be Hydro. And no, Neuvillette was not responsible for giving her a vision, just like Ei said, an Archon/Possessor-Of-A-Throne cannot give or deny a vision.)
    So … what Throne is our sibling their Heir to? Well, the Throne that Khaenri’ah made 500 years ago, the utmost arrogance of humankind that demanded the attention of Celestia.
    And considering Khaenri’ah’s fondness of the Abyss, the powers of the Abyss were very likely used to create such Throne. This was King Irmin’s greatest achievement, as well as his last achievement.
    Celestia made the Thrones to watch over the mortals of each nation, and bestow a gift among the “favored”. King Irmin possibly made the Throne to watch over Khaenri’ah, and bestow a gift amongst all Khaenri’ahns … including the Half-Khaenri’ahns. It’s very likely that a Half-Khaenri’ahn Descendant from each of the Seven Nations did indeed live in Khaenri’ah, and the Abyssal Throne soon found itself attacking the Nations of those other Thrones in some attempt to counteract the Half-Khaenri’ahns … Halfness? Thus, initiating the Cataclysm. The Curse of Immortality was King Irmin’s accidental doing. The Hilichurl Curse … well, Hilichurls have been around since before Khaenri’ahns Fall, so … that curse originates from Celestia, but the Abyssal Throne may have initiated that curse to act up. (This suggests that the Hilichurls are humans who became tainted with the Abyssal Energies, and the Thrones are made to not only give visions, but make a counter against the Abyss. … this suggests many other interesting things.)
    Since then, it’s very likely that Khaenri’ahns witnessed this and decided to never have a Half-Khaenri’ahn ever again, otherwise the Abyssal Throne will attack that Nation. So, Kaeya really really shouldn’t go to Khaenri’ah … for the reason of the Hilichurl Curse, and the initiation of a Nation-Wide Cataclysm.

    • @DawitsLookingforEmilia
      @DawitsLookingforEmilia  6 месяцев назад +2

      i would challenge u on the assertion that neuvillette didnt give furina her vision. an archon doesnt have the power to grant visions, but neuvillette is not an archon

    • @TinkRomero
      @TinkRomero 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@DawitsLookingforEmilia Ei tells us that it is not by her will that a vision is granted or denied, which suggests that there is something else that grants and denies visions. (And for whatever reason, Electro visions are currently being denied by all Thrones … if my theory stand true.)
      Neuvillette tells us that the Seven Archons impart a shattered shard of their mastery to the gifted. Neuvillette for his own personal reasons agreed to do the same, and set aside parts of his mastery for humans to come and claim.
      So, Neuvillette may not be an Archon, but he is purposefully doing the same thing an Archon would do in that situation.
      The Element of a Vision does indeed come from the Archon, but Archons are not the granter of this Vision.
      Furina gained her Vision with a new Fontaine Casing, and the only thing that has changed is the Throne and the Ruler of the Throne. Since Neuvillette has already accepted to do his duties like an Archon would, the Element of the Vision comes from him, but the casing would come from the Sovereign Throne. So, the Throne must be the one responsible for granting and denying visions, all of the Thrones share the Mastery of the Archons/Neuvillette, and for reasons currently untold, decided to deny the Electro Mastery.
      This is why Thoma/Wanderer have an Inazuman/Sumeru Vision despite being Mondstadtian/Inazuman. They received that Vision in that Nation.
      Now, this doesn’t further prove my point, but it does explain why Furina obtained her vision.
      I’ve noticed that all Hydro Characters share one thing in common, a guiding influence. (Neuvillette also fits into this, since he was guided by Focalors to now treasure humankind, but … he’s being excluded since … obvious reasons.)
      Mona, Nilou, and Barbara(idol) we’re all taught by someone. Xingqui’s was guided by stories of chivalry and such. Ayato, Kokomi, and Candace were all taught by their lineage. Childe was taught by Skirk. Yelan was guided through the loss of comrades and a determination to not have such thing happen again.
      Furina gained her vision during her Story Quest, and in her SQ, we learn that Furina has lost all interest in performing on the stage since … trauma of being a False Archon for 500 years. Finds herself drawn to the Theatre Troop performing The Little Oceanid since she’s always been rather curious on the human emotions that went into making the countless plays she’s watched for the many years. During her assistance in this Troop, she comes to find a line that impacts her quite a bit, “If you become human… You can reveal your secret to no one. You will face suffering and loneliness. Is this truly what you want?”. This hits very close to home with her for obvious reasons.
      In her Profile>Story>Vision, this line of dialogue is mentioned again, this time with Furina’s own answer of what to do next after her role as Hydro Archon was finally done with.
      Furina found her guidance through The Little Oceanid. (Theoretically, she found her guidance through performances that embrace such question, and The Little Oceanid was just the performance she coincidentally got involved in … theoretically of course, I really doubt Mihoyo will give a more thoroughly emphasized answer to this already solved problem.)
