Good vid. Just put that board in a SF 15th anniversary and changed the stick to a IL Euro with IL concaves. Was going to totally rewire but when I saw your vid with the harness I just went that route. Had to modify the harness a bit (new ends on p and k buttons, cut jlf connector off and add ends for the Euro). It helped me decide on some things so thanks!
Nice video thanks. If you can I like to see a video on how to install and set up one of the Kaimana 8 button kits that paradise arcade sells.
+ThePhalcon2600 Thank you. I do have a video on the kaimana install. It is linked at the end of the video or just go to my channel page.
Very nice! When using with ps4 will it timeout after 8min?
Hi. I've installed my Paradise arcade breakout pcb with the harness. How do I go about adding touchpad function as it is on the board also. Thank you.
Where would I mount the Kaimana mini on the pcb if i have the 20 pin adapter
will this work on Quanba Q1? i mean removing the wires an connecting them to the new board?
Will this also work the brook with audio pcb?
I would like you use this board in a hori scv arcade stick ps3
How about happs 360 joystick?
Trying to convert my pa3 that has MVC2 into a cabinet. What buttons and joystick would you recommend I buy that is compatible with the brook fight board
Sanwa JLF with Sanwa buttons and OCto gate. You can't go wrong with these
can you in any way make this to run on or with retro pie i want to use my mame arcade control panel and play ps4 fighting games
yes
@@Fundando great news and keep up great vids buddy!!!!!!! Now i just need figure out the connections lol.
@@1ubby hey I know im a year late, but did you figure out how to do get it to work with a retro pi?
So the 20 pin harness is for 8 buttons, and you only used 6 of the connections. Should the other 2 connections and grounds be cut, or could a problem arise since you left them loose?
you can cut them if youll never need them or put some electrical tape on them. just do anything to make sure that the signal never touches the ground or you'll get false inputs
Just for shits and giggles, would it be possible to add bluetooth to this? I understand there would need to be a battery system or alternate power source for your box. I was thinking it would be cool if you could add a BT adapter then use a cronusMAX adapter in the console with a BT adapter connected to that. Just want to know your thoughts. :D
It kinda defeats the purpose of having a fighting stick. Since your main goal when getting one is to archive the lowest input lag possible by doing it, you would add more input lag.
But even if its possible it would be a pain to keep its batteries charged unless you add extra holes to the "box".
I'm paralyzed. My hands don't work. Ya Mario .. I'm a gamer this is the only way. I need a joystick to move the camre
Cat play good of war with just a arcade stick I need 2
can you make one with the R3 as well. for us guys wanting to use it for fifa
What about the Touchpad button? Some PS4 fighters require a touchpad button to reset training mode position. Do you need to buy some other harness to connect a wire to touchpad on the PCB with all pre-soldered headers?
+TheVlad489 There are a number of ways to do this depending on which PCB you plan to use and what configuration you get. It is definitely possible on both though.
+Fundando (Fundando) I'm thinking of the Brook UFB PCB. I have Qanba Q4RAF.
+TheVlad489 You can either solder wires directly to the through holes or get jumpers for the headers that are on the board. It all depends if you order the board with headers or not.
+Fundando (Fundando) So what piece is it that you need to get if you have the head if you're only gonna use the touch button and the ground there?
Is there a harness to hook up the r3 and l3 buttons?
not at the moment
Damn, thats like $300+ in hardware and parts right there.
can you show how to do that for a mad catz mvc2 fight stick
+Craig Wallingford I do not own one of those to show you. Try asking around on the shoryuken forums.
What kind of case is that?
custom made
Iam lazy I bought the tank that works on all

Where did you get the harness your using at?
Never mind. I found it.
OK cool.
Hello nice video!
I want to order the 20pin harness it cost like 15 bucks however im living in The Netherlands Europe and paying like 50 bucks for shipment is just to insane for an item that costs 15 USA dollar is there another way i can order the item without spending insane amounts of shipment costs. I would understand if one orders well above 200. But its just one item...feel free to reply. Thanks in advance.
No LS/DP switch?

You need a neutrik usb pass through and a couple of usb cables.
Does this also work on the switch

from brooks " The Brook UNIVERSAL FIGHTING BOARD PCB supports Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Wii U PC, Switch, NEOGEO mini, PS Classic and MD mini. "
where did you get all the non wiring stuff, like the enclosure, i know where to find button, stick
I got the enclosure from the trading outlet at shryuken.com Although if you want a nice enclosure fast check out allfightstick.com or allfightsticks on ebay. I will be doing a feature on them soon. Also arcadepc.mc and foehammer make great wooden cases, but take a little more time as each piece is custom.
It is not universal if it is not for Switch and Wii U.
Brook has added both functions to the Universal Fighting Board in a firmware update.

I am so done with these videos that show you how to make these fight sticks that show you how to put it together with super expensive stuff. I can't afford the damn PCB. I know I'm going crazy in this video, and nothing against you, it's just the straw that broke the camel's back and I have to vent! I JUST WANT TO PLAY MY ALREADY BUILT FIGHT STICK ON PS4!!!!
Mickspad then don’t watch the video
Just buy a converter bro.
