Take care on your way because there is a forecast of heavy rainfall along the areas that you will be traversing, Bicol region and Visayas. Please watch weather forecast before you leave Lucena City. Enjoy your trip.
Agree there is a bad weather right now at my place in leyte and somewhere else in mindanao so please be careful guys... better check ✔️ the weather update time to time for your safety
if your around naga area theres this vegan restaurant called The green earth and a Vietnamese restaurant called PHo along almeda highway, near vista mall.
I am planning to make my building in the Philippines in the future for Air B and B and this looks very nice to follow. It does not look small and crowded.
Reading some of the comments you have a lot of people care for you, Sasha, Story and Poppy, some of the comments are very touching, especially their concerns for your safety as well as ideas what and where to visit. Poppy seemed anxious and wanted to play and run around. I guess she missed running around the beach. story's facial reaction is always very expressive and charming. She keeps herself busy. I hope she could do gymnastics, tumbling or ballet however, where you are on an island those activities are not common. The only athletic sports would be swimming and surfing which I could see her doing. Have a wonderful and safe journey back home. Goodspeed!
Hello 8MFH family! Hope you have a pleasant and restful stay in Lucena City before you continue on your road trip passing thru Naga to your final destination. As per advice from other subscribers, you must check on the weather forecast in the Visayas and Mindanao en route to Siargao. There have been storms and flooded areas in the Visayas region so do take precautions. Praying for your safe travels back to Siargao. ❤
I think poppy is craving for any food that might have meat in it. Occasionally they give her canned dog food or some chicken nuggets when they get takeaway but it seems like most of the time it's rice and vegan scraps very unhealthy for a dog no wonder she is so skinny
There are also good hotel and resorts at Lucban, Quezon, about 30 to 40 mins travel from Lucena City. Its called Batis aramin and resort and Nawawalang paraiso (Tayabas, Quezon). So many pool and outdoor activities. I do warn you on the freezing waters hehe
I suggest you stay longer in Luzon. You might have a hard time driving across Samar bec some roads are not passable. This rainy days might be longer than expected.
The area of Lucena you're in is along the Pan Philippine Hi-way so it won't have much places for you to eat or shop. But if you guys travel a bit more I know there's an SM in Lucena city. Although I can understand why you chose that place as going into Lucena city. It's a small city with small city roads so it can get crowded. Plus being already at the highway you avoid the traffic.
Hello Jay Sacha and Story and puppy too, have a safe trip back home to Siargao, enjoy your journey and take care everyone, God be with you all always watching from Rodriguez Rizal Philippines.
Wow you are here in our place. I hope you can visit the Bukid Amara farm in Lucban Quezon. Flowers are edible. Also come in Kamay ni Hesus shrine in Lucban too.
Thank you for sharing this video coz I haven't been to Lucena...have a good rest tonight and have a safe journey to your next leg of destination. Take care.
I suggest you take a different route going back to diargao. Somebof Samar and Leyte roads were flooded and could be very bsd. Why not take the batangas mindoro, iloilo cebu and finally surigao. More sea crossngs but more road trips to various provinces snd cities. Side trip to boracay is also possible.anyways which road you take, take care.
Be safe always especially the road after lucena that is from pagbilao Quezon province to bicol is destroyed due to the rains and is very stressful. God will always be with you all.
Jay have stoms havie rain and flooded in besayas and mindanaw so stay in manila for a wail wag muna kyong sumakay sa roro malakas ang bagyo OK stay put in your house
Hello Embers...its nice to watch you travelin back to siargao and yet seing whats inside the Philippines provinces...when you reached the farther side of the country, you will notice that the people have a different culture.. they are more shy but they are most welcoming people...they are courteous also and helpful..Lucena is the iner part of Luzon..the accent is deep tagalog..have a safe trip.and God Bless.😇🙏
@8miles, you have a special place in my heart. I look forward to your videos every day. The good vibes warm my heart. How you talk to each other, to Poppy, raising Story to be a kind person, and appreciate what is good around you. Thank you so much for sharing the good news of your day. Be safe!
It looks nice and comfy. I’m happy Poppy is with you as a security guard too I believe.Story is always a happy camper kid. Enjoy your time and as if I’m traveling with you guys. Thanks for sharing the beauty of the places you are in.
Be safe...be careful on the road. Drive safely....I will feel bab if something will happen to my favorite lovely family.... GOD SPEED....GOD BLESS YOU🙏❤🌹
I really love to see this family of 4. Btw, i stayed in Lucena 9 years ago and all i can say is that most of the Quezonians are good people. They are friendly and accomodating.
I made cashew cheese with nutritional yeast for the first time. It was YUMMY. Sauteed shallots , mushrooms soy sauce and garlic and made mushroom cheese steak without the steak sandwiches on sprouted bread
Original Pilipino dishes are cooked vegan style. Just tell the cook not to add meat, fish, or fish sauce. Use sea salt or soy sauce. Coconut cream if need be.
Pls ck the weather… lots of flooding in Visayas and Mindanao… better stay in Manila for a while… for reliable weather forecast , watch DOST PAGASA , 2x a day weather update
Hi Fam, If you don't mind having a dish of some local veggies and an accommodation as this one offers breakfast or other a meal (they seem very flexible with regards food as well), you could probably request a dish of steamed local veggies which we do request for (lightly salted would be our request; we'd just kindly ask for in-house seasoning if we haven't got our own :) Usually: Okra, leafies like the local camote tops, string beans, etc., which go well with fresh slices of tomatoes, onion and some ginger :D Have a safe drive to the next destination! Seems you'll have rains along the way.
Hi. I have been hearing most often among vloggers the phrase "real Philippines" when traveling around the country specifically outside Metro Manila. I wonder what is the "not real Philippines" for u then? Im beginning to think that u r referring to the skyscrapers of BGC, Makati, Ortigas, Eastwood and elsewhere in the metro as a "front act" or display or show off because to u it is "not real". PH economy is still improving and the govt is initiating to develop the countryside but only a few places in the provinces have the potential for a metropolitan development like areas of Pampanga in Central Luzon, Tarlac and Dagupan City in the North. I believe the same situation for the outskirts of greater London, Cardif, Belfast and Edinburgh do not have modern skyscrapers except that public structures are well developed. Anyway, thnx for sharing ur vids Im happy to see u enjoy ur travels despite some hassles.. Have a safe trip to Siargao!

It's a very bad time to drive through eastern visayas at the moment because of heavy flooding along the way. Stay safe.

Please ignore the reply below re: telegram chat. It's am impostor account that does the rounds.
Story and poppy so playful. Have a safe journey. Check situation of where you are headed too.
Poppy is craving for human food hehe... your trip will be rainy when you reach Bicol. Hope it will stop soon. God bless your trip.
I think poppy is craving for any food that might have meat in it. Occasionally they give her canned dog food or some chicken nuggets when they get takeaway but it seems like most of the time it's rice and vegan scraps very unhealthy for a dog no wonder she is so skinny
Please monitor the weather forecast as there are currently low pressure areas in Bicol region and Northern Mindanao...
Yes always chk the weather situation there are lots of floods in the visayas & Mindanao region
Lots of rain at the moment..if moving along be safe.
It brings back memories. That’s where we take the ferry to Marinduque. The smell of copra is just invigorating.
Poppy had changed so much from when he was a pup. Coat looks healthier and disposition of Poppy is good.
Thank you for sharing your brief Lucena visit en route to Siargao.....Stay safe J, Sasha, Story, and Poppy.....
It's good practice to always carry an umbrella during this time of the year when you are out and about, especially in the afternoon.
I suggest you stay longer in Luzon. You might have a hard time driving across Samar bec some roads are not passable. This rainy days might be longer than expected.
story is getting more and more beautiful and smart as she is growing up.

You're in the outskirts of Lucena City. There's much more to explore further to the center of the city although I must admit it's quite crowded there.
Wow you are here in our place. I hope you can visit the Bukid Amara farm in Lucban Quezon. Flowers are edible. Also come in Kamay ni Hesus shrine in Lucban too.
Take care guys and have a wonderful safe travels back to siargao...

oh wow, that is a nice place to stay indeed! simple, clean, comfy and even got an accommodating room attendant. pasta looks so good, yum! 😋
Hi, just curious... is there a reason you didn't take a ship from batangas port to you next destination? Have a safe journey!
Be safe always especially the road after lucena that is from pagbilao Quezon province to bicol is destroyed due to the rains and is very stressful. God will always be with you all.

Yes lucena is nice too! I have home in bantigue we are soround of beach resorts but im not leaving there just only for vacation with my family.
There’s a vegan restaurant in Lucena. I think the name is “Reasons.” I just couldn’t find it when I passed through there.
Interesting when Jay mentioned Peanut Butter Skippy brand, I happened to be eating it with my toast whilst watching the vlog..haha
I really love to see this family of 4. Btw, i stayed in Lucena 9 years ago and all i can say is that most of the Quezonians are good people. They are friendly and accomodating.

the “secret” microwave isn’t a secret. some Filipinos use a purpose built cover to cover their appliances so it wouldn’t accumulate dust 😊
Be careful to your way home❤️
Thank you very much po! Jeselle :-)

Being Vegan, what do you eat to get protein? I would like to try to go vegan slowly but I am unsure what to eat for protein.
