How to make a grease trap for your homes.
A grease trap is a plumbing device designed to intercept most greases and solids before they enter a wastewater disposal system. Common wastewater contains small amounts of oils which enter into septic tanks and treatment facilities to form a floating scum layer.
Every household must have device.

❤Great job except one mistake you created a restriction of grease flow by inserting flex hose inside of blue drain instead of outside of blue drain line. Get a larger flex hose to go over the blue drainage pipe leaving the sink and have inlet the same size as blue drainage pipe to avoid restricting grease flow. A Cardinal Rule…….Never insert piping inside another that is larger than the ID of the existing pipe. You could fudge on this installation “IF” it was water waste only. But for Sewage or Grease it will only create back flow of waste defeating the purpose of eliminating grease from entering the plumbing system. Besides the one error great job!

If that drain system didn't run level for such a long way along your wall you'd have better flow but that long level pipe means you'll see grease blockage a lot faster. Not that a grease trap isn't a good thing, it is but your drain pipe has more problems than just grease clogging it.

Thanks for your observation Sir. Anyway the drain pipe has an inclined step to about a certain degree. Yes this has been my problem before I installed the grease trap.

the little hole in the bottom is for drainage when cleaning?

Yes, it is used as drain when cleaning the grease trap. This is optional as need basis depending on where you place the grease trap.

Yes it does smell since its grease and oil but if the cover is on then it would'nt smell. Tnx and stay safe.
