Hi Jorge, thank you so much for your comment 👍 Welcome aboard 😊 i bought the casters at a local chinese hardware store. 5€ each. They work fine so far.
Hi Pedro, 10cmx5cm boards roughly convert to 2 inches x 4 inches actual size. In North America, a 2x4 is actually 1.5x3.5 inches. I think people are going to have to get these custom milled if they want to follow the design. Can anyone comment on this aspect?
I didn't know that difference between North America. Here in Europe we only use metric. But I guess you're right. Custom milled is the option to follow the disegn. Thanks.
I wonder if standard 2X4” (90mmx45mm) would be sturdy enough? It’s only a tad less timber. I’m on the middle of making my bench and would love to take off more material off the legs to slide onto the corners but wasn’t sure if it would still be strong enough. You have done it with yours and it seems rock solid. I think I’ll give this a go!
Very nice, but now you can't use the crosscut sled you used at the beginning of the video, because the slots for the rails don't continue into the outfeed table.
Watching you, honestly, is horrifyingly demoralizing. I might as well take my tools and throw them into a river. I do not possess the level of concentration it takes to be this meticulous. The best I manage is, "Well, it's better than nothing". So many scorch marks ... there are almost enough tool burns to convince people I did it on purpose, for aesthetic reasons. All miserable lies. Nope, just too impatient to let my saws cut at their own pace. My grandfather and two of his brothers, all master carpenters, roll in their graves every time I turn on my table-saw. I will download the free plans just to mock myself at the absolute travesty that would unfold if I were to attempt it. You are a god, sir. An absolute unit.
It's the way it is. In order to be able to make videos for people to watch, it's necessary to add revenue. With revenue comes money, with money comes videos, with videos comes entertainment, with entertainment comes happiness. Everybody happy except 147 people.
I've done the same but with a little twist. I've use a old manual wind up hospital bed as a base. good for a on feed or a out feed table at variable heights.
OK, I just finished a version of this. The plans supplied on the website aren't quite right. I had a lot of math to figure out! I think the conversion from Metric to Imperial was a hair off. In some spots it's like a 1/16', who cares, but in other spots its 3/8' which can throw things off. To add insult to injury building it out of American 2x4's really throws the math out of whack but I'm happy with the final product and thank you Pedro for the inspiration no matter how many times I cursed your name reviewing the plans I didn't mean it!
I Jason, It was not my intention to confuse you or someone who uses the plans. Conversion from metric to imperial is always difficult. My advice is to use a metric tape measure and use the metric planes as a reference. But I'm happy to know that you managed to finish the workbench. Send me some pictures over my instagram profile if you have.

What a good bench, i want the same for my dewalt saw.
Hi Steve, just follow the plans.
Dude. This is incredible. Love the Wallace and Grommet style time lapse edits, too. Great work on all fronts, sir! 👍
Thank you Keith 👍 please subscribe to the channel 😉
The prettiest bench I've seen.
Hi Gerry, thank you so much for your comment 🙏 please subscribe the channel 😉
5:06 do you have ghosts in your Workshop? the closet door opens by itself. Haha
😁
I love the strangely ergonomic way he flipped the table over lol
Thanks 👍
Thank you too. Make us happy again and again. Inspiration.
Thanks Mikhail👍, please subscribe the channel 😉
Amazing workbench Pedro! I just bought a dewalt table saw and I'd love to have this table! Your work is truly impressive and you should be very proud of your workbench! By the way, what casters did you use for your project, they look very heavy duty? Just subscribed too! :)
Hi Jorge, thank you so much for your comment 👍 Welcome aboard 😊 i bought the casters at a local chinese hardware store. 5€ each. They work fine so far.
@@WoodYouDoIt What size of casters were use...100mm or 125mm?
@@stevenakins4786 100mm
Que trabalho lindo.
Gostaria de ter uma mesa assim.
Olá Joas, obrigado pelo comentario. Subescreva o canal 👍😉
Unmatched skill set
@@ryan.farrow you can go with 90x45. It's sturdy enough 👍
Worked great! Much neater with your design. You got cleaned cuts but I am pretty happy!
@@ryan.farrow maybe instead of 2x4 use 4x4 and dado the cuts??? Thats all i can think of trying. Definitly well done.
@ 5:04, the cabinet mysteriously opens behind him. I think there are ghosts helping him out.
Yes it's true.... Buuuuuuuhhhh
Very nice, but now you can't use the crosscut sled you used at the beginning of the video, because the slots for the rails don't continue into the outfeed table.
Thanks for your comment. Please subscribe to the channel. I can do now, because in the meantime I did the slots.
Thanks 👍
Humility is such a rare find. Thanks!
why 147 thumbs down? I bet those thumps down don't even know how to pocket hole joinery correctly
Those 147 people didn't like the diy dude always interrupting the ads...
It's the way it is. In order to be able to make videos for people to watch, it's necessary to add revenue. With revenue comes money, with money comes videos, with videos comes entertainment, with entertainment comes happiness. Everybody happy except 147 people.
Those 147 people work in a workbench factory and are now out of a job.
Отлично! Настоящий МуЗЧина ! с большой буквы! Очень такой стол хочу!!!
2:50 how Triscuits are made...
😂😂
Veramente entusiasmante la capacità di esecuzione. Complimenti, ottimo maestro per me.
Grazie mille 🙏👍.
I've done the same but with a little twist. I've use a old manual wind up hospital bed as a base. good for a on feed or a out feed table at variable heights.
Hi Paul, thanks for your comment 👍 that souds a good idea 😉
If I want to set mine up. I'll ask him to do it for me. This is just beyond perfect
Thank you so much for your comment 🙏👍
Wow, great skill - I want this table 👍👍👍
Thank you!
Perfect. I bought today a 7492, expect be able to do one of this workbench
Go for it Adriano 💪
This is an excellent video of the making of an excellent workbench/saw table.
Thank you so much for your comment 🙏
Jesus! That table is so well built I’d be afraid of putting a coffee cup on it, let alone using it as a table feed and work station 🤩🤩🤩
😁👍
I loved the workbench, but for entertaining, a voiceover would be great.
Sorry, no voice over.
poetry at work. each hole predrilled, counter sank, what a precision. very nicely done Sir
