Very well thought out. Hope to make a similar one for myself. Great job, well done.
Some people are just simply more clever than others. That's what you are, but you are also generous. So thank you very much for sharing your precious knowledge.
God bless.
It's really helpful how you show your whole process including troubleshooting. Fixing mistakes on the is like 75% of the thing and yet most videos are singularly focused on the best case scenario outcomes. Really excellent build
This has to be my favorite sled I’ve ever seen! Thank you for sharing it!!
Made the work bench and have now made the sliding table. No need to make the fixed extension as the sliding version serves the same purpose. Outstanding work sir. I am a happy owner of a new bench system. Thanks
Hi, I built the workbench, pretty much exactly as you posted, I created it in Sketchup to get my cutlist, I made a change by putting a drawer in the sawbase and another in the right hand cabinet. I am going to add the sliding addon this weekend. My other workbench was a lot larger, this new one still gives me sheetcut options but the added bonus of a smaller storage footprint. Thanks so very much for sharing.
First a shoutout and huge thank you to CarpenTAK for the excellent design of this workbench and the very informative videos in general! Dear Kevin, as I'm preparing to build a workbench for my own DeWalt 7492, this design looks perfect for my needs and since you mentioned you had created a sketchup model of it, I was wondering if you'd be willing to share that with a fellow woodworker? I'd be very grateful! My contact email is in my RUclips profile. Thanks in advance for considering
Genius idea! Better than a cross cut sled I think. I was going to make one but this looks much better! Thank you sir, you are a scholar and a gentleman. Stay safe and happy building!💯😁
This is hands done the best and most accessible solution I have seen for hobbyist woodworkers. If you have plans I would gladly spend a few dollars to buy and support the effort you have put into this built. We’ll done. Would also be great to have some running commentary explaining some of the decision making or critical aspects in construction. 👊
I would buy plan too!
Yes I would buy plans to.
You sir are an inspiration and I have already started remaking my table saw work station. I will be making ALL of your stations. The compact design alone is reason enough. Simply love that you make something from nothing. Bravo!!
thank you I wish you a nice finish to your workstation.
Disco theme complete with period accurate cuffs! Love it! Groovy!
Oh behave.
This is not just good - this is insanely excellent work! I will attempt to build one for myself. Incredible job!
This is amazing! Thank you for filming your build.
I envy your resourcing of hardware and aluminum extrusions . Training, knowhow and creativity. Well done.
That’s true craftsmanship. Well done!
Your work is an absolute joy to watch, fantastic videos and great job.
I watch a lot of videos on crosscut sleds and yours is by far my favorite! The on the fly problem solving was great to see!
Sweet build dude. I made my table saw cabinet for this same table saw last year and keep seeing videos like this making wish I incorporated other things into my build. Something like this is a great idea
At last, someone who shows the product before showing how its made
Excellent. I've been gearing up to make a fixed sliding table. You just altered my plans. Best RUclips idea in a long time.
Not many things have me amazed. This did!
Kind regards

An incredible video. I am amazed at so much manual skill and ability. Your work is very professional.Hope I can see more of you. I say thank you very much that I could see this video. Greetings from Germany
Excellent build. I plan on doing a version of this for myself for a new bench and workshop I am designing. I like your modular design! Keep up the great work!
Really excellent design and build. I also like very much how you've shown the process evolving - trying some things and then refining them. Excellent job and thank you very much for sharing. You've inspired me to try to make something similar - but I'm sure mine will be much worse! :)
That mustard bonds really well. Awesome job!
Outstanding craftsmanship and excellent video. Very impressive.
FELICITATIONS .. BEAU TRAVAIL.. QUELLE IMAGINATION...BELLES PRISES DE VUES 👍👍👍👏👏🙏🙏🙏
UN BRICOLEUR MARSEILLAIS
Wow - extremely impressive. Nice job with the video production as well!
Well done. Brilliant. I expect that I won't be the only one copying your idea. Thank you
Thanks for sharing! From Vietnam with love
Extremely well done! I've been looking for similar sliding tables to include on a new table saw bench I'm designing.
Awesome! I want to build one like this myself! And the video is excellent, full of tips.
You’re a genius man. Keep it up
You my friend are ingenious!!!!!
Sorry I forgot to say u built an awesome sliding table. My saw is small and I was looking for something like this so I will give it a try while I'm off work. I'd rather be in work but what u gonna do..
Keep up the great work my bro. Salute from IRELAND!
Excellent ideas. Stunning video. Just great
Very good work, congratulations !
Exactly what I want to build, thank you so much for posting!! 🎉❤
I would make this one for mine, thanks for sharing 👍👍
Absolutely brilliant idea!
That’s really cool. I watched a couple of time s to eyeball the rest of your table. And then I found a video of it.
Sure wish I had a next door neighbor with your talent and craftsmanship :)
I need a friend like you too. America is far away, but my video will be sent to you in 1 second.
Sliding tables can get tricky. With the other jigs and extensions you built, you're still basically using the saw itself to cut the work piece. Assuming the saw was calibrated when you got it, you should get square cuts and the jigs won't affect it. But with a sliding extension table, now you're using a piece of equipment that did not come with the saw to make your cuts. If it isn't lined up perfectly, you won't get square cuts. I'm sure yours is perfect, but if I tried to build this myself, I have doubts as to whether it would be square enough.
You can see him square it up against the table saw fence starting at 16:20. He then drills and taps one small hole in each mitre track and inserts a small threaded insert to serve as a stop. That way when he's adjusting the fence, he can pull it back until it touches against each insert, and then he knows it will be square.
Gotta say that's possibly the best designed and executed diy sliding table I've seen but I don't see what advantage it offers over a similarly well designed sled.
Simply, capacity. Not this one. But you can build a slide to take a 5x12 sheet, no way you can use a sled for that. Once you have something bigger than ~18" along the cut (~45cm I think) it just gets awkward to have a sled big enough to do the task. A slide starts to work much better at those size, but still works very well at small scale.
Edit:
They are also designed to be infinitely variable for angled cuts, cove cuts or other unusual things. Sleds can be built to do that, but the offset between the table and sled height makes things less then ideal. This still has it's problems. Just fewer
great! You've explained it well. My slides are designed to cut up to 70 cm. It is not possible with a sled. In addition, its extension fence can be extended up to 160cm and can be measured.
this is genius. now I want to build one.
Ottimo video , molto curato ,bellissimo banco da lavoro.Complimenti 👍
As my 4th table for the saw i finally got it as it supposed to be... thanks
Talent from above. Awesome!
This is a great design -- and it looks like it works beautifully too! Nice work.
Amazing... I want one for my table saw.
Very cool! I really enjoy your videos. I even like your music selection. Could you include a link to the extruded aluminum fence kit that you used in this video?
That was awesome! Thank you very very much
Wow I admire your greate craftsmenship!
thank you. Please watch more videos on my channel.

That's a really good comment. Thank you very much. Written in Korean! Great! I want to create a new way of work and I am always struggling to find good ideas. You gave me great support and I will meet you again with a wonderful video.
So much of this build is great, but the amount of sawdust those glides will accumulate makes those a bad option. I think I'll incorporate a lot of this build into my version.
One trick I found watching RUclips videos was, save all your old plastic straws (clean them). Then use those to clean the inside corner glue seepage from your woodwork projects. It works perfectly and you can re use straws over again after you clean off the old dried glue. Give it a shot!
That's a good idea. thank you
Beautiful work I like it a lot so accurate
WOW WOW WOW Genial.
Excellent job my fried.
That thing is fantastic and better quality than the table saw .😂
That's brilliant would love to make one for my Bosch.
obrigado. Você também pode. Desafie-se!
Beautiful job!!!!
That's a beautiful piece of kit mate! If you have some sketches of dimensions, I'll do a Sketchup model that you can offer.
I'll do the model for nothing but hopefully you might earn a bit selling it.
I need a parts list as well mate.
Simply amazing..!!! Congratulation
This is great! Got and ideas how to quiet the saw? It is very noisy!
Fantastic design. By chance, would there be any detailed plans available?
There is no plan. sorry
Artista,a great work.
I would never take that table off!! Why?? Its perfect!!
Great build. Thanks for sharing
That was genius!! Blessings!!!
The steel balls of the three section rail will be stuck by dust, which is a great structure for stress but not dustproof. Perhaps using an optical axis would be better.
That turned out nice
Brilliant!!! Love it
Echt klasse. Toll gemacht.
I absolutely love this!!!
Fantastic work brother!!
Very nice work. Way to find a need and come up with your own idea of getting it done. Look forward to watching your other videos. Take care.
Excelente trabalho. Parabéns.
Wow, it looks amazing.
Congrats, well done
