This is just incredible. Unreal. I've watched it 3 times already. I'm gonna use this as my base plan and spend about 24 more hours searching youtube for other neat ideas to incorporate them into the design. I can't say enough how fantastic this is.

This is the best setup I've seen so far! I love the lifts. That was my main problem with my router. It's not easy to adjust so the lift mechanism should help immensely. Thank you for sharing this with all of us.

    Great work! I like it!
    I have a question/concern though:
The saw is not really fixed in its height adjustment right? It is relying solely on gravity. If the blade gets stuck it might pull up the saw blade all the way. That would be dangerous.
    What do you think?

Q: How did you set up the Circular saw for angled cuts like at 16:44 - did you make some kind of tilting mechanism with the saw locked to its frame, or were you able to organise it so the saw would tilt in its frame?

When compared with other guys working in slippers, using century old tools and state of the art Chinese drivers bought for 10 $ in the market it is evident that what you have accomplished here is masterclass. Still wondering what is that one feet long screw bit for. Anyway, congratulations.

LOVE all your solutions in this. Fantastic! The only issue I see is that you have no depth control when cutting bevels with the table saw, which is a minor safety concern, but not huge if the user is experienced and being careful. Positively amazing what you did here.

Thanks for sharing your table with us all, I'm building one myself. I made a wooden 8x4 as the top sheet is a FULL size, but now will need to take it off and put melamine sheet for a slippery surface. Thanks again, Teddy........

Fantastic bench, the best I've seen and just inside my abilities (I hope!). I am putting a shopping cart at the moment and have most items ready to go, but there are a few things that are not in your parts list, and although may be obvious to others, aren't obvious to me.
    1. For the fence, I don’t know the name of the wheels that run along at the far end,
    2. The name of the rail and wheels to go under the Scissor Jack,
    3. Does the router need to be a plunge router? Or can I use a Fixed or Laminate Trimmer at full extension (this is simply because I have a Laminate Trimmer spare).
    4. Everyone’s question, how did you get that Saw on an angle? Manually or otherwise I’d like to see how you did it with this bench.

A question on the saw- in your setup, it is not attached to the jack stand. Are you sure it won't be sucked upwards by the grip of the teeth on the wood piece? I think adding zip ties between saw handle and jack stand top would solve this problem. Awesome design though, I will try to replicate it. Thank you for your work!

Very nice and all! I'm jealous. Only thing that I'm little skeptical about is the fence. It's quite loose and there isn't much guarantee that it's in the same angle as the blade when you move it around. Although builder must have noticed this by now :)

    • @saldogdave
      @saldogdave 3 года назад

The fence is only loose when it isn't drawn against the metal rail. Once it is clamped, it is square with the rail and secure. This was checked in the video.

Great job! I really like your solution of the height adjustments of the router an the table saw. You showed how you solved the problem of the horizontal movement of the body of the circular saw when it is moved up. But how does it work when you tilt the saw for 45° angle cut?

Brilliant! But what is the purpose of the sliding panels to each side of the router bit? Typically that's for dust collection but I didn't see any dust collection. Are you planning on dust collection through the square metal table saw guide?

I love it. This is the level of skill I want. I can so many small projects coming from this. I am actually adding an extention table to my saw but its ony 20 inches which will increase the rip capcity to 36 inches. This is so good.
