- Hello,
We sew for many reasons, but it all provides some peace or enjoyment. It is amazing when we can share with each other and help each other when possible.
This video is an appreciation of gifts received from subscribers. I express gratitude, and I am thankful for an amazing sewing community.
Thank you,
KARON
Hi Karon, that was nice of your subscribers to give you gifts.❤
I think so too, Zelda! Thank you.
I thought flight suit for the blue abstract right away, very much like the jumpsuit you were thinking.
For the green, if you pop it with a neutral contrast on the collar and cuffs, it could make a sharp shirtdress. I love the idea of the berry print blouse with some olive or khaki green pants.
Thank you for the feedback. Yes, a flight suit or jumpsuit is perfect for the fabric. I appreciate your suggestions. Happy sewing.
All the fabric pieces are beautiful, it's nice to step out of your comfort zone.❤
I think so too! I am anxious to see what I do with them. Thanks for watching 🙂
A bubu dress with a navy front placket would look awesome for the green fabric
Hi, thank you for watching and sharing your feedback.
Karon the burgundy fabric will look really nice on you! The green fabric made me think of a pair of side zip 60's pants. What a wonderful gift both ladies sent you :)
Suz'Ana, I will give it a try but have never really given this color a try. Yes, it's definitely giving the 60's ankle pants.
Yes, I am very appreciative of the gifts.
That last piece was so beautiful for you! You will make something deserving I know.
Thank you, Donna. Appreciate you watching and sharing your feedback 🙂
Hi Karon. The really busy one would look lovely as a duster over white pants and shirts.
I adore the cream fabric- truly stunning.
I think the green would make lovely cropped trousers.
The maroon is very similar to a dress I am currently making. I will get a photo later and send to you. I think the colours are perfect for you.
Rachelle, yes, the colors would be right with a calming color as white. That cream or coming yellow is a beautiful one, for sure.
I will see what garments they become eventually.
The maroon fabric is a deep, rich color for sure. Enjoy your sewing project.
Thanks for watching and sharing your suggestions.🙂
The burgundy print looks so good with your coloring! Can't wait to see the new blouse
Thank you, Catherine. I appreciate it.
Such a blessing to recieve unexpected gifts. I actually love all of the fabrics on you and I rhink that ypu will be pleasantly surprised when garments are completed. Sometimes we feel safer in our comfort zones, until we are challenged to new directions. The green fabric would be great in a shirtdress btw. Looking forward to the beauties that you will create witj them. Happy sewing ❤

Sooo thoughtful, wow!❤️❤️❤️
I agree🙂
You can use google translate I have a few Japanese patterns and use google translate. Really nice gift I’m sure you’ll find something nice to make. Also all of the fabrics are beautiful. I agree it is extremely difficult to choose fabrics for someone else. But all of those are excellent choices. You are very particular and it would definitely be a challenge to pick fabric out for. Lol
Yes, Google translator was recommended by another kind subscriber as well. It's awesome that you use that to translate your patterns .
I definitely appreciate the fabric and kindness as well!
They are all beautiful. I am looking forward to see what you make with them all. Just a quick note on the magazines, I am in Canada and only speak English, every once in a while I will get one of those magazines , the knipmode have beautiful patterns, you should give them a try. Use google translate with your phone and you will get a fairly good idea of what the instructions are. Please show the mags and the patterns. Thanks for sharing, I always look forward to your videos❤❤❤
Oh, thank you, Sara. I am happy the option to translate the instructions is available. I appreciate your feedback, especially helpful because you have the experience from that perspective.
I will show the magazine and patterns in a follow-up, maybe with a completed garment.
Raven Maureen just made a caftan using a simplicity pattern in a green floral. The material looks similar to number 3.
Hello Helen. Thank you, awesome. I will review Raven Maureen's channel .

#1 that fabric screams overalls to me.
#5 would be a beautiful dress.
Let's see what happens when my mind realizes my plans.😀
Love from Thailamd 😊❤
Appreciate it.
I love the shirt dress on the background, perfect color and fit! Which pattern did you use it? All your makes are amazing, you inspire me a lot to do more. How i wish i have more time to do
Hello, I appreciate your kind feedback, and I am also encouraged by your support. We all inspire each other.
I used simplicity 8014 to make that dress.
You might use the fabric for lining.
#3 The base color looks good on camera.
That blue fabric does look like camouflage fabric.😅
Yes, it does😀
#5 fully lined shirtwaist dress?
And then you showed the Vogue pattern and the McCalls, of the two I think it would look better in the first one.
I appreciate your feedback. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts.
#2 what about a caftan with a stripe of another color on it?
The blue fabric looks like camouflage to me. However, whatever you decide to make it will be great.
Yes, I did think so and thought of the jumpsuit with the pockets, but let's see howcit works out.
I truly appreciate your feedback and time to watch.
