Two more beautiful makes. I don't know anybody else who puts as much attention to the inside garments - not only to the finish, but to the pattern placement!! - as you do. Both are lovely.
Beautiful job on the dress. Yes it is a busy print BUT you made it work. You placed the design on the fabric in the right places. Job well done. You can do the wool. If fear tries to creep in, look at this dress.
Beautiful, this is sewing craftsmanship. I have seen garments in stores that the patterns of the material are all mismatched. So my compliments to you for showing us how to make a garment that looks high end. Love it.
Hello Karon! Hope you are having a nice, much cooler weather wise that is, wknd. It’s only 70 this afternoon, Sunday. Your dress with the off whitish red flowers and vines is so pretty. You always sew so wonderfully!!!!! . Gorgeous, inside and out. Love it, especially when you modeled it. It’s not too much at all. Your white and blue striped blouse is gorgeous too. Impeccable sewing as always. And love the placket. Not unusual for your creations! Wonderfully made and created! You are a wonderful sewist! I’ve got that pattern and I must sew it asap. I’ll try! Take care and have a great week! Nancy from Fort Wayne, IN.
Absolutely beautiful makes, as always! I love the shirtdress! Such thoughtful placement to make a fabulous dress. I love the gingham details on the shirt too. I think you will be surprised by all the compliments you will receive on it. For the wool blazer: Whitney at Tomkat Stitchery is hosting a precious fabrics challenge this month, to encourage us to make the beautiful things from our special fabrics so we can fully enjoy them. You are spot on focusing on your I'm sure it will be prize-worthy! 😊
Karon, the dress is breathtaking! Love all the work you put into the floral placement. And the cuffs on the shirt are beautiful. Both makes are your classic signature style! Works of art! 🥰
I am humbled by your kind feedback. I live that we all have our unique way of sewing, and that makes the sewing community such an awesome space. Thank you, Savannah!
Karon, your pattern placement is so well thought out. You killed it again! A beautiful dress and the shirt is great, as usual. You will have a nice look with the shirt paired with the blazer.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words that also provide inspiration. I am humbled that others find my work interesting. I truly value your time.
Yay! Another lovely dress and shirt! I also used to struggle to remember how to pronounce her name until I thought of: “Levis or Lee jeans” - It is pronounced Lee-cell for the Maker of the Classic Shirt (my favorite, too, for that sleeve placket). 😅 Hope this helps! ❤❤ Suzanne
"Plain Jane" is not what I think when I see the gorgeous things you make!! The pattern placement of the print on that beautiful dress is amazing and I like the checked placket on the blouse. I hope you find the wool blazer to be a happy project to make so you can enjoy it!
Beautiful garments. Don’t think the blue shirt looks patchwork at all. The patch work motif would have to be repeated elsewhere in the garment for it to read as such, my opinion only!

I appreciate you... thank you for your support. I was not feeling the sewing vibe, which caused me to pause. I am back on Sunday 🙂
thanks for letting us know you are well, just taking a breather. Yeah... there is not forcing it. Be well :)
