- So I decided to host a showmatch where 2 meta players are gonna 1v1 for 300$.
The HOI4 1v1s are back and they are gonna be bigger than ever.
Tommy and the mod team are working hard on a new HOI4 1v1 mod for the future HOI4 League and the next HOI4 International, the biggest tournament in Hearts of Iron 4 history.
Basically this 1v1 HOI4 is a showmatch that is also a test run to see what are the issues with the mod and also for you guys to tell us what we should fix before it officially launches.
Naturally the 1v1 mod is still a work in progress, so there's gonna be issues, but that's why we got 2 meta players to test it out.
The ultimate 1v1 on the up and coming new ultimate 1v1 HOI4 mod.

One of the nations (Probably the minor one) should be an island nation at the back.
I feel like this map would do in a 12 hour king of the hill stream... Not for the players or anything, it would suck for the guy who goes first, but it would be great as a viewer to watch

Also tommy I found something unbalanced about the mod the paratrooper focus gives you 2 veteran 30widths and if you know how to convert you can get 2 veteran tanks

@@GAMA830 the turnament is in December by now dozens know and later on hundreds will know and it’s only a winning strategy if you know how to convert and well that felt unfair
I think you should allow a couple more months of preparation time as well as keep the games going for longer just so the north and south fronts can be utilised

I think an Island hopping campaign would be awesome. I really enjoyed the north Africa battles. I think a south pacific one would be fun.
Nah Naval invasions are bad.
It also has south east asia map, but the naval aspect makes the match dedicated to a single naval battle due to how navy works
that would be so incredibly cancerous. one person will lose their entire navy in the first naval battle and then it’s just joever

I was wondering where I saw this. I thought this was his VOD.
The mod is great. The skill involved even reveals the main problems of HOI4 (in my mind). One mistake and it will cost you the whole war. Games are won right on the frontline through micromanagement. You can see in the video how one player will just give up as soon as his frontline is broken. That part of HOI4 throws the realism/immersion completely out the window!
