- I'm trying out a newer real time strategy game called Warno and I'm going to try to lead NATO again.
It's time to take a little break from HOI4 and experience this military sim!

I like how he was having fun in the campaign for 21 minutes but as soon as he joined multiplayer rage quitted and called the game boring
I don't think him taking an enemy sector easily then calling the game boring is him rage quitting
@@WhoAmIHmmm Probably, because it's a pretty new game, but not necessarily. The harsh reality is, in many games you can do and try interesting and fun things in single player that will just get dunked on playing in multiplayer meta. Playing different suboptimal strats against AI to see how much you can get away with can definitely be more enjoyable than getting your suboptimal strats dunked on in MP, or winning MP with the same meta strat every time.

Also, Warno is a game made in France. UK and West Germany suffers...
Britain's tanks are under armoured and for some reason their accuracy is lacking and slow to re-load, in Warno.

Yup! They and most of nato were supposed to slow the Soviets down until the bulk of the American Army showed up a week later. Look up the Soviets 7 days the the Rein plan.
@@ZacharyStephanieMartin-kt3wd what are you talking about. I've read about that doctrine also. It's nowhere near the truth. NATO had enough troops for defending against WARSAW pact. The only way USSR could do anything else is if the use tactical nukes and destroy logistics hubs in the rear of frontline troops. And then USSR realized that's not going to be so easy with NATO having nukes. So there was no way WARSAW pact could do anything to NATO that could result in easy victory.

@@am-mm2sl Deep battle doctrine with a massive ammount of Warsaw pact and Yugoslav highly motivated and trained troops that use their own equipment and not cheap knock off trash copied from the nazi's or the US was detrimental and the Soviets could have probably made it to the Benelux in a matter of months or weeks if they did attack full force at their peak in the 70's and early 80's.
@@am-mm2sl Enough troops? You might want to re-look at the numbers again, NATO was heavily outnumbered in the 80s and all throughout the Cold War. NATO expected to lose Germany fast and be right on the Rhine before the Soviets where stopped.
multiplayer is not a good choice for people who dont know how to play the game, play the operations to understand WARNO micro deeper

Its not that bad, once you play a few games against the AI its just understanding what units beat what. You need to use combined arms to win!

I feel bad for Germany. Their population barely had time to recover from losing millions of men and civilians and if war broke out, we'd expect them to fight fellow Germans. Granted, NATO would be right there alongside them, but it's a lot to ask a country and people that are missing an entire third of their country.
Hitler really screwed over the Germans by putting them in that position.

Hi, I have a challenge for you, Play Hoi4 vanilla Iron Man on as Czechoslovakia, and form 2 states, Czechoslovenia and Yugoslovakia. Rules are simple:
No mods (Must have Yugoslavia anex slovakia and Czechoslovakia annex Slovenia*)
Have both of them in the same faction at the start of ww2 (your faction)
You have until 1939 when Germany declares on poland
Both of them must be independent and have the 2 specified regions anexed by them.
You cannot puppet Yugoslavia or dismantle the whole of it.
Be creative, I am really interested if you can pull it off and how.

If I was the leader of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation in 1989 I would not want to fight the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance simply because the countries in it were finally shedding the manacles of communism. It is not in my interest to engage them in war. The U.S. made all the right moves but then did not bother carrying them out later on.

God no, just play gates of hell instead. Men of war just have so many flaws. (at least in my opinion)
@@serax126 I got MOW Assault Squad 2 during a recent sale (base game+all dlc for about $10) as an entry into the series and similar games. Very flawed, but fun for watching the ai kill each other in the editor. I am thinking of getting Gates of Hell mostly for improved graphics and gameplay, but Men of War 3 is set to release this year so I think I'll wait to see which would be a better buy.
