Thanks a ton Kevin! Can’t wait to bring this ol girl back to life!
Ahhh, I feel like a matchmaker 😉
@@dogdoc1oh, this is soooo you’re fault! 😂. Thanks a ton for helping me find this beaut! It’s going to be a really cool build!
@rustbucketrestos6511
You're very welcome. When I first heard of Kevin's project "ZomBee" I was very interested in seeing that build, but when he sadly announced that he wouldn't be able to do it, then I figured 🤔 you surely could do this and post the progression of the project that can still be seen by many. Sorry for the additional workload, but as Montgomery Burns (the Simpsons) would say "Exxxceeelllent"......👍
@ haha well thanks again for thinking of me! You got a shout out in my video to pick it up!
In 1978 I bought my 70 bee for $550.00 bucks somebody put a 440 in before I got it. 4 speed, 3:91 sure grip It ran 13.90's I still have the car and now it runs 9.80's full exhaust, radial tire and the car weighs around 4,100 pounds the motor is a 517ci low deck 4 speed, dana 60, back then you either loved or hated that body style...I'm glad i kept it
That's a cool story, thanks for sharing!
Those are some amazing looking B-Bodies! I'm sure he's going to do awesome with that superbee. I've always wanted to get into Sick week with my 70 Charger but it's taken me over 6 years to get it done!
Sick Week is tough! I’m considering the Sick Smokies event
Best home that Bee could have, Dave is a first class Pro!
Congratulations on finding the right home for the Bee! Congratulations to David and Rust Bucket Resto’s for taking on the build! I’ll subscribe to his channel and follow the progress! Mopars Rule!!!
Awesome!
I'd say the Super Bee is in pretty good hands 👍. Now I know what to look for in my rear-view mirror come Moparty! lol Cool video, Kevin. Really enjoyed the shop walk around and the channel connection.
Thanks for watching!
I was really hoping it was going to RBR.... From everything I have seen him do, there is NO BETTER place for that Bee to BEE resurected and built right. I only wish he had enough subscribers that filled his pockets enough for a full time camera/editor person so he could put out even more content.... RBR is why our hobby will live another 100 years......
He seems like the right guy for the job
Thanks for the kind words, Kevin! Give me a shout when you come through Arkansas!
I gotta know what your secret sauce was in getting that 499 to beat our 505! We had bigger heads and more cubes and you spanked us!
Kevin, great story. It's good to see these cars come back to life!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm glad it all worked out!!! 😃👍
Me too!
Love the muscle looking of the '70 model year Super Bee♥💪 Congrats on finding the new home👌👍
Us too!
Great video love your content, I’m sure this has been done before, but I thought it would be a great article to see if someone had a $7000 budget and they had to choose a big block for a Mopar, which is the best value? Also, can a 383 perform like a 440?How come more 383s aren’t used and most 440s are? There’s probably a lot of these questions but I’ve wondered this partly because I have a 383 lol
Like most things, it’s mainly ease of access. 440’s were found in trucks, motor homes, wagons, C-bodies, irrigation pumps, boats, etc. we’ll be covering a 400 stroker build soon enough but for cost of entry, a 440 remains the best bang for your buck
Glad to see the Bee got a new home 👍
Same!
👍🏻
Hey there I am going to restore my Daddy's car he was a Vietnam Vet and story is on my channel. I hope to make the magazine one day :) wishful thinking.
Sounds like an awesome project - good luck with the restoration!
@@moparconnection thank you so much
I’ve found rbr to be a clout chaser
How do you mean?
