Just like you,I have always loved that front end.Looking forward to seeing how it ends up.By the way, thanks for the memories. It been many years since I drove 84 to Ogden.Beautiful drive, unless it's snowing.
Again, I must say I'm glad things worked out with you getting this car. For a moment I thought it wasn't going to work out, and this car would disappear and we Mopar nuts wouldn't know its outcome, but now it will have a Present and a Future that we all (especially Kevin) can see playout on your channel. Very good 😎👍
Happy New Year to you and your family too. Can't wait to see this build. I enjoy watching how you piece these cars back together. All the best for 2025.
Pillar car content hurray ...hope you keep the color combination and stripe ....looking forward to seeing the build....nice scenery content too....thanks....🔧🔧👍
Awesome man! Over the years, these cars have become cooler and cooler to me, to where they are now in my top 3 favorite dodges. I'm pretty stoked to see what you do with it man. Some people might not like the color combo. But, it being a weird one, I think it brought back to life with original colors would be super sweet to see. I've never seen a bee like that. Congrats on the passenger upgrade too lol (I dont know your business and hope i dont sound like a dick, just seen other comments so i wanted to say congrats)
I appreciate that thank you! The color combo is VERY strange to me too. Only 25 coupes were made in beige. Probably even less with orange interior. Could be the only one of its kind!
I was hoping you would buy that car. It is one of my bucket list cars. A close friend owned and restored a 70 Coronet R/T Hemi 4 Speed. We took it to Mecum in Chicago and got a very positive response. It was 1 of 5. - They called this the Lost Canadian car. It was a good trip, went to the Cuda Cave. Met lots of really nice people. Look forward to this build.
Being single not being married anymore...No wife telling you what you can buy or be nagging i won't never marry again..... Your freedom worth more than any women 😊👍👍👍
In 1974 I was 14 and my Uncle, who resided in S.W. Virginia literally a stone's throw from Bristol TN. had a 1970 Super Bee. It was Baby Blue (not Petty Blue) with a White Vinyl Roof, White Interior had the 2 side vent Hood, if memory serves it was a 383 car, 4sp, not sure of the Diff but I do remember it did 2 wheel burnouts. And the thing about his car was it had a Daytona Wing, albeit half the height. I've only ever seen 2 Super Bees that had the wing...his and another Orange one I found online. I'm gonna be following THIS one closely...nice score! What's the plan for the Engine already in the Satellite?
I don’t know if they’ll all ever be truly done. I’ll always be tinkering on something or making it look better, faster, etc. The Cuda & the Charger are both going to be higher end show cars. The Bee & the Satty are going to be my racing war dogs.
my very first car when i was 15 was a 70 coronet rt that i bought with my paper route money in 1985 of course being in wisconsin, the car was a rust bucket but it still had its 440 that ran like a clock as soon as my mom called the insurance company ...she looked at me and said they told me they wont insure you...they said your going to die in that car...lol haha
I admire the purchases. You now have my top 3 cars in your fleet, only difference is my #2 car would be a 69 charger. By chance is a 71 roadrunner in your top 5 list?
Hey I couldn't help but notice but you had went to Lonoke Arkansas after I believe a superbee I got to looking at that...that is 3 hours from my home town wow ..I would love to get the chance to meet ya one day ..I live in Harrison Arkansas
Wow I had one of these for a couple of years 383 auto mine was yellow with the strip ,post car one nite had a deer jumped out in front of me and that was it hit the deer on a sharp corner and rolled it
the gto sold the most in 1970. dodge in 70 copied the nose and ill tell you its a hell of a lot better than the gto. not only that but the last year for the coronet 2 door. in 1971 the coronet and satellite are based on the e-body platforms. years ago i had a 1973 plymouth satellite sebring plus with a 400 2 bbl, 3:23 with towing package. it towed good yes i put a tow hitch on it? it got 14-16 mpg. it also rode like a dodge power wagon. had them air shocks on it. had the power of a 318. that 70 reminds me of youre 68 charger that you pieced back together. ill be watching this one also. my 69 coronet got in a accident in september and luckily im fixing it. it looked like a train hit it. 35 mph t-bone. passenger frame rail passenger door were the flip out visor has a 1 inch gap. the crash was horrifiying. i lost the brakes. the brake pedal got hard had no assist. it will need more work but i have a freind who owns a body shop with a frame machine and he will figure it out.i bought the car 25 years ago it had a 318 in it and i put a 440 in it. ran it at the track ran 14.34 at about 98 mph low comp with stock cam. you know you allways want more. if i knew how to send a picture i would show how bad the car was. in the spring ill be taking it apart and putting it back together etc. the 440 also survived. i have a cut on my forehead that was the worst 15 stitches. anyway scaring you about this ill be watching the next build. you should put a parachute on that 70 when youre done.
You 100% have the Classic Car collecting bug lol That many enthusiasts have 🤣once were financially stable enough to buy our "Dream car project's" 👍and start all 10 and never have one fully done ☹because money/family/time or health. This Super Bee has a C stripe very cool. Plum crazy purple, white C stripe, white interior, 4 speed big block air grabber 2 scoop hood.
AMEN! Definitely a process... I look at it from the perspective that finding them is always the hardest part! Especially when the price is right! When they come up & the price is fair, you have to jump on them!
@@rustbucketrestos6511 My view also, now that you have Connection's it seem's easier and people seeing your content see your a serious enthusiast and they are will to help you out is A++. to show That your not a Car flipper to make a quick buck like a Gas monkey.
Nice, I never seen that color on a super bee, but then again, I'm chevy guy and don't keep track on mopar stuff. got little story, my uncle purchases a brand-new super bee 1970. order it with hemi,4 speed, blue with white interior, white strip. story he told me he went to pick it up and the car was blue with black interior and refused to take it. dealership reordered correct car and months later he got it, and the other car was sold. my uncle said he was kind of surprise the other car was sold, because insurance I guess was a big deal with muscle cars back then. if I'm correct there was only 26 hemi super bees sold and most were 4 speed hemi cars. both cars were sold in Madison wis. unfortunately, he rolled the car over in a rainstorm and drive train went into a drag car.
Man, I tell you what, I'm living out my dreams every day working on these cars! The hardest part is finding them! And when you do and the money is right, you have to jump... & jump quick! I have enough work to do on the ones I have to keep me busy for the next 10 years. Can't wait to bring them all back to life!
😞 My 73 SS Nova dream car was stolen by crackheads, I built a beautiful pro cruiser car and it's gone, stripped and cut up.. I'll never have another dream car again... People Suck.
Great job with the video, Dave! I’m jazzed with how excited you are to work on the ‘Bee. So glad it’s now in your hands! -K

These cars are growing on me! Love the Satty so this should be right up that same alley! Can’t wait to see what you can do with it!
Super unique color combo, awesome that its a post too. I just picked up a 70 superbee myself and my dad has one. They are the best.
Beige & orange would not have been my first choice! But I still love it!
I watched Joe's videos of that engine. Did not know it was yours. Exxxceeellent....👍
It's a beast! Can't wait to get it in the Satty!
Wow!!! You drove all over the country. I was born and raised in Chicago, and my wife and I lived and completed our studies in Lansing, MI.

I love these cars from the firewall back. That front end just freaks me out. Have fun though. Still want to see how it turns out.
I wasn't a huge fan for a long time, but man, it definitely grows on you!
Fantastic!
Thank you! Cheers!
nothing better than a Super Bee

What's wrong with building hot rods & doing smoky burnouts? Approval shouldn't be needed for that! :D
Oh well

I think I’ll build it into a 528 stroker & stuff it in the Charger!
This car is in way better shape than the 68 Charger was. This will be an awesome build!
Sure is! I don't want to say this one is an easy build, but it's definitely better than most of the ones I've built on the channel!
good luck with the build........ill be at the moparty this year......
Hopefully you'll see it there! If it's not ready in time I'll be bringing the Satty!
Love the car.

Looking forward to the new build 😊

Welcome to Arkansas! I'm a central Arkansas native living in the Ozarks now
Nice!
1970 Super Bee is the best looking muscle car in my opinion!
I agree... it doesn't get much better!
The front of those reminds me of the rear of a 67 Polara or Monaco.
Of all three mopars you have now which one is going to be done first??? All three are cool !!!

awesome channel...what happened to cuda you were doing
I'm accepting donations!
Wheres the cuda?
She’s on ice while I continue to accumulate parts! Hoping to bring it back late 2025.
How’s the cuda been?
It's been great! Collecting parts! It's an expensive build. Hope to bring it back in 2025.

Haha no doubt! She definitely needs a lot of love!
@rustbucketrestos6511 well it's in good hands now.love watching muscle cars ,classic cars restored back to original condition or hot rodded.
They both broke in into pieces
What about the cuda
It'll be back on the channel eventually! Very expensive build!
i had a 70 coronet 440 318 when i was 18 i was young and dumb
I'm still dumb at 38... I'm not one to judge!
I’m gonna guess a 1970 super bee! 😂
Good guess!
Your wife must make a fortune.
No wife = no approvals needed to buy more Mopars!
i swear everyone gets their old mopars from Ohio
Seems that way doesn't it? Mine are typically either green, from Ohio, or BOTH!
Weres the cuda
I’m accepting donations 😂
I prefer the body style of the 69 Super Bee. That was my first new car. The best $3100 I ever spent
Dang, that'll buy you a pair of used front 70 fenders now!
