I love Ed's background vocals in this. I love them as much as Thom's vocals.
Ed O’Brien’s backing vocals 🔥
Seriously my favorite back up vocals ever. I love his back up as much as the lead vocals ❤️
Mind blowing
I will never tire of watching people get turned on to Radiohead.
"this is a tune," yes exactly
I know that creeping smile....its like they wrote the song from outside the rules of song writing. Love it so much.
Ed O’Brien’s backing vocals. That’s will be the name of my son
Watching people enjoy Radiohead songs for the first time is my new hobby lol. I was once told that everybody ends up a Radiohead fan it just happens at different times in their lives. I so hope thats true
Great comment and I can confirm it is true 👏🏻
I feel like people can only really understand radiohead if youre emotionally available. Some people just cant get it
The level of “freedom”, they give themselves and at the same time perfection and synchronicity is just astonishing
These basement sessions are so good.
The invent the music over and over again.
Best live band ever.
My ears always follow the bass for this song, absolutely unbelievable lines there. It really what ties the whole melody/melodic dynamics together
This piece was composed, more particularly by Jonny Greenwood, it's a piece called Arpeggi, composed for a whole orchestra, and which was adapted for the group, it seems so complex...and so beautiful....a real landscape...
Thank you!!!
I did not know that, top notch geek fact! Thanks.
My favourite song off another masterpiece of an album, In Rainbows. They are so inventive and accomplished.
Radiohead is like its own genre in music, you can’t put them in a box it’s just a continuous evolution of music art. Thanks again
Best song ever
I have been waiting for this reaction for such a long time. I am so happy! Thanks Rory! Love!
Radiohead and Norm MacDonald... ❤
Rory, seeing you smile at a song puts a smile on my face. Especially music that isn’t the SAMO.
So beautiful!!! ❤🔥
Thank you Rory for this great reaction video! I LOVE Radiohead!! This is pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I agree, they are so amazing live, so amazing in studio and they are each musical geniuses!! Colin Greenwood on bass is absolutely fire !!
That entire show is FIRE !!!! You have to react to the whole performance !!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Always love your Radiohead reactions mate… you really should do the whole session.
Radiohead don’t block reaction vids… when they first released “In Rainbows”, they let you pay whatever you wanted for it!
Just the In Rainbows one the session for the King Of Limbs does get blocked.
Album version as well? Liver versions from 2012 are great as well and accentuate this songs brilliance!
Will always be one of my favourite tunes of theirs. Stunning.
love this peice
Glad you like it. I just got into them and I am 58.
Ive seen other reactors put From the basement all up on YT with no blocking issues. I think you're alright in that regard.
I've given up on the possibility of a deeper look into the glaringly unique latter work of Talk Talk. The whole idea was based on a new discovery for you, especially after realising that they weren't a band you knew about. Just bear in mind that Thom Yorke has spoken openly about their Post-Rock brilliance, and a trained ear can quite easily pick up on Radiohead's admiration for the band. In the end, there's Yorke and Hollis, and it was the latter that created the path that Radiohead are fully cognizant of. I shall repeat for the final time Rory, that what lies waiting for you is there for the taking, or ignorance may be your unfortunate choice. Rest assured that i will say no more on the matter! ✌️
They will not block this session but the 2nd one for the King Of Limbs will get blocked (there are 2 basement sessions).
I want that damn lemon.
Its not even in my Top 50 favourite Radiohead songs but its an amazing song - all music should make us smile at the originality and weirdness
Not in your top 50? You need to listen to the album version on high-quality headphones or iems. Your mind will change. Live versions from 2012 as well? Check em out
@@John.Christopher Ive listened to it hundreds of times friend - weirdly Im allowed to have different taste to yours :)
Even just on In Rainbows I prefer Nude, Bodysnatchers, All I Need, Jigsaw Falling in to Place, Reckoner and Videotape. Your not wrong and Im not right nor vice versa its personal taste
@@cgallagher4501 Fair enough. I didn't intend to come across combative. Out of curiosity, what do you use to listen to these songs and do you find Arpeggi boring? Unrelatable?
@@cgallagher4501 harmonically, it's like a dream scape to me. Some particular renditions in their 2012 tour are exquisitely ethereal.
@@John.Christopher
How do you wonder if I find it boring when my initial comment said "but its an amazing song"?
Hell yes!! So glad you did this tune!
Stu (lead singer) does all the mixing on their KEXP sessions. The audio from all their KEXP tunes are ridiculous.
Please check out their video for ‘Dragon’! It absolutely rips.
Also: they’ll be in Austin and Dallas next November! I posted the dates in your ‘Catching Smoke’ comments.
Cheers!
?
Listen t album version a few times and it ll just get better cn better
"I don't think it's possible for someone who likes music to say they don't like at least one radiohead tune"
edit: why haven't you done gizzard yet
