How are you all? I hope everyone is well and having a good week - will the warmer weather arrive soon - I do hope so!

I am delighted to be sharing my thoughts on the challenge today alongside the lovely Liz today from @Thebakerthatsews

The two items I have shared today are :
1. A self drafted skirt inspired by a purchased skirt recently, in a jersey fabric, keep your eye’s posted on how I replicate this and draft a pattern to fit me perfectly.
2. A Flat Fronted Skirt in woven fabric - inspired by the lovely Alice who is The Polka Dot Palace on instagram, and has written a blog post with step by step instructions on how to achieve this, which you can find here :

Never apologise for buying rtw. Buying rtw can be an addition to your wardrobe in the same way as making your own is, so just enjoy. I love the skirt patterns you've chosen and your fabric choices. With the skirt your cloning is it cut on the straight grain or bias.If you'd rather leave that information for when you make the skirt vlog don't worry as I will be watching it. It is great that your finding a positive way to push through your sewing blip ❤

No not at all - elastic waistband so should just slip on and off xx
