Thank you Marcia, the times I used to try and thread elastic through the casing and get stuck against a seam 😊 just making sure the seams run the same way is so much easier 😊
Lovely fabric you chose & the peasant dress pattern is really good. I did the popover dress last year, some lined & others reversible. So far this time have make three with eight more cut out, so going to try & do as many as I can for size twelve as that is the size they are most short of. I’m in the UK as well & just sent Jacqui an email re tags & how she wants paying for them. Thank you, great video. Ali 😊
Lovely to hear from you Alison, yes it’s the first size 12 to 14 I made. I always end up making smaller dresses 😊 I live in North West, Abakhans great shop to get fabric also they sell online x
Great job matching the print of the pocket to the print of the dress. The zebra to the left of the pocket would have been headless if you hadn't given the dress that extra attention. The little girl who gets that dress will certainly love all those zebras.
Beautiful dresses Mandy, I know it will make some girls really happy.😄😄😄 I got a warning of "inappropriate content" for this video, and I wonder why? Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that YT might have flagged it for some reason 😔 Thank you for sharing!!! Karen
Thank you Karen, I think it was because I ticked video not made for children on you tube editing so I have unticked and I think it’s come off I have also taken the link off for dress a girl around the the world uk website as this may flag video as well with the new you tube policy. Xx
Excellent zebra matching on the pockets! Attractive dresses. Good tip about seams to face the same direction for elastic threading. I’ll try to remember to do this now you’ve mentioned it. Thank you for posting
Absolutely love your fabric choices!!! ❤❤❤😊
Thank you, loved shopping for the fabrics, I think everyone likes the zebra fabric best 😊
Such cute dresses. The pink zebra fabric is absolutely wonderful 🥰
I love this fabric too Dianne, it’s a good strong cotton too so hopefully the little girl will get plenty of wear 😊
Lovely dresses! What a wonderful charity. 🥰
Couldn’t agree more Sally xx
The dresses are looking good
Thank you so much Teressa 😊
Super cute!
Thank you, love making theses dresses, allows you to be so creative 😊
Beautiful dresses, Mandy. Thanks for the great tip about the seams going in one direction so that the elastic passes through smoothly.

That zebra fabric is so adorable!!
Yes it’s so cute, it’s called Spirit of Africa by Bethany Salt for the craft cotton company 😊
