Phillies STUN Marlins with a 10-Run 9th Inning!!

September 17, 2005 - The Phillies go 8 innings without scoring a run off ace Dontrelle Willis. But in the 9th, the bats come alive and the Marlins' defense goes to sleep. Philly drops their first ever 10 spot in franchise history much to the dismay of the Marlins fans in attendance.

Marlins-Phillies-Astros-Nationals were all competing for the NL Wild Card by this point. Horrible loss for the Marlins.

That entire Phillies lineup just attacking and biting like a gang of hungry little mosquitoes. The Marlins didn’t anticipate needing bug spray and now their weekend is ruined.

That's absolute bullshit and you know it. It was the horrible defence. Not wanting to rewatch the whole video to prove a point, I can remember 5 ,possible outs that weren't made and there were probably more. It was the worst defensive inning of baseball I've ever seen in my life. Just absolutely atrocious. Yes the Phillies would've scored runs but you're acting like they dominated. Your opponent being absolutely horrible isn't you dominating. There's a diffence.
