This game proves that we can play without Soto while he’s taking some time off to get better. A positive note he should be able to play with us in the Kansas City. Four game series that was said earlier tonight on Fox.

Thanks, I’m a fan and been following him hard last couple months. But I didn’t know THOSE numbers 😮 I wonder if anyone else in baseball this season will have a stretch like that!
The only thing he realistically could improve on is his strikeouts and giving his outs a chance to be even more productive than he already is. That’s the one thing that separates him from other HOF sluggers like Bonds and Frank Thomas.
Other than that this dude has been godly.

I agree about his stats. He's a beast. He's on pace for 58 HRs but he could hit 60 per year, if they don't see a World Series it doesn't mean anything. DiMaggio had 9 World Series rings and played in 10. Now THAT means something.

I’m not concerned. They beat us without Soto in the lineup and while facing the 2 worst pitchers in our rotation. If we see them again in October at full strength it will be an entirely different story.

So many overreactions this series. Yes we lost the series but the only bad game was Saturday, with no Soto and Stanton basically having his worst series of this season we were competitive. Rizzo is an issue for sure but this is still a great team
Glad we got the win, but very disappointed to see that we came up inconsistent against a great team. Losing isn’t the issue, but the lack of production besides Judge was unacceptable. Stanton’s gotta go, he swings at everything.

The DH matchup in this series was pathetic. Stanton was only good for outs. Ohtani was clutch in the first 2 games. Both are overpaid hitters but at least Ohtani actually gets hits. Judge is putting together another MVP season. He basically leads the Yanks in every offensive category with zero errors in the field while leading the majors in many categories: hr, bb, ops, etc.
