2nd deck homer, triples, infield hits beating the throw with speed...guy had it all. In the 1993 WS he had a 1.452 OPS!

Molitor was so much fun to watch in that '93 postseason. As Coney says in his interview near the beginning, he was a great situational hitter. I'll add that he was one of those players who shone brightest on the biggest stage. If his prime had been later in baseball history, when there were multiple wild cards, and he had played in more than two postseasons, he'd be even more legendary today.
In other news, I started thinking that a 1993 equivalent of this video would have showcased a retired great from the Mickey Mantle era, and I reflected on my oldness.

Still the only player to get 2 of EACH TYPE of hit in a single world series. Dude handed toronto the world series that year.

Paul Molitor is my favorite base hitter of All time. His vision read of the field combined with his knowledge of pitchers and the patience to wait for his pitch : best I ve ever seen.
Paul's swing mechanics could go slower or faster depending on where he wanted to hit the ball and the location of the pitch.
Paul Molitor alone has a TRIPLE for his 3,000th hit. Think about that.
    He's the best.

And he did this without a division series, and without a game 7 in the ALCS, and without a game 7 in the World Series
