Met him twice in Trenton NJ very soft spoken guy but one of the nicest you’ll ever meet
To have a stadium that large chanting at you to hit a home run, in a return to your home country, and then actually deliver with a home run? Absolutely legendary!! Matsui was always such a clutch hitter - I miss seeing him play.
I sure do miss him.
