I was born in Nov 1975, wow what a time that was!!!! to see that Mustang on a track no roll bar no helmet, just 70s hair in the wind......what a time to be a alive lol
As an American who knows how poor handling those passenger car skinny tired Mustangs handled, I was completely baffled by how well the Mustang did; more so being a convertible!
I don't know how this hasn't had a billion views! Bring this back! Drive in, race round and then try to drive home again! ...And bollocks to safety gear! Mustang man isn't even wearing a seatbelt!
The days before health and safety. I was born in the 70s and looks like I missed a lot of good racing. I remember my Dad taking me to Wimbledon Stadium in the early 80s to watch car racing. Great times.
The Celica is driven by the late John Brundle, father of Martin Brundle. I was Martin's hot rod mechanic back then....god I'm old !
He's not even wearing a seatbelt!! What has happened to the world? absolutely f'in brilliant
This has to be from 1875...because the idea that people this awesome still live and breathe on this earth is unreal.

Wow. These are brave people to race their own cars with no safety gear and no prepared cars. That was sad when the Chevy went out
This was entertaining and hilarious at the same time.....the announcer added a lot of excitement to the racing.
I was driving the black cooper S, (JPP 150 C) with 19 on the side.
Fabulous video. Thanks for sharing.
I was driving the green Hillman Imp. I’m so excited I just turned 16 and so ready to drive again
"Well.... It's their funeral" - best quote from a race announcer I've ever heard!

This is superb. Funny, mad, and perfectly 1970s. I grew up at that time and though lots of things are much better, life isn't so funny.
We need these Production car races back!
Look at those classics 😇
omg the blue and blue rs2000 rmo 253m is still on the road
This is one of the most amusingly crazy things I've seen in motorsport, it's more like what you can find in a video game. Superb!
