  • When a direct attack fails, the False and Feint Attack comes to the rescue! An invaluable addition to a foilist's repertoire, both the False and Feint Attack allow you to create situations in which you can trap or trick your opponent into committing to an error.
Use the False Attack to drawn an opponent in and then retake right of way with a waiting parry, or trick them into committing to a parry against your Feint Attack and changing lines when they do.
Note: this video is not intended as a coaching lesson but as an outline for exploring the video content on your own, with fellow foilists, or with your coach. Interpretation, instruction, and articulation of actions may differ from coach to coach.

I’m sure there’s something well done and useful here, but the sound quality undermines the excellent potential of the video.

Sorry about the inconsistency of the sound. Unfortunately, it appears one of the camera microphones is beginning to die and it was only identified after the fact. Close Captioning is also struggling to capture everything being said, but its for the most part effective. Hopefully, you were still able to find the video helpful and useful.

@@osmfencing I did find it useful, so much so I’d suggest a redo. Thanks for your work!
