SO happy the child is alive. He'll have scars, but that's okay! I do too! And the poor pup - that sucks.
That’s why you should be able to carry a gun to protect yourself. Never know what’s gonna happen.💯
@@michaelking6895 the family is from Ukraine. I don’t want foreigners in the U.S. with guns.
Why don’t you people pay attention to anything?
@@72marshflower15 immigrants can possess firearms in the US
@@michaelking6895 for better or worse..
Funny, not funny part, is that the irony is that if they were carrying a gun, the mountain lion would likely still be alive. Likely, someone with a gun would shot it in the vicinity of the animal 1) due to adrenaline and 2) due to not wanting to injure the kid - the mountain lion would have scared off and there likely would be no need to 'hunt it' down. But hey gotta love Californias gun control.
Actually this is why we need to deport half the state.
Poor babies.
Don't feed any widelife 🏕 any food 🤷♂️
You need to be on high alert when out there. Enjoy your family but be ready for anything. Make sure you have a gun for self defense. Glad the boy is ok.
I completely agree with your comment. It's just difficult to enjoy a family outing with a loaded gun in your hand while constantly keeping an eye on every possible area a Mt.lion could spring out of. You have to act the very second one pounces and that means having whatever weapon you choose in your hand ready to go.
I feel bad that we are encroaching so bad upon their habitat. A beautiful animal lost life to save the overpopulating human. We simply arent worth saving.
It's a pre-existing state park in Malibu, it had nothing to do with encroachment.
@@MS-ty8eq actually no..
"...We simply arent worth saving." - Understood, take the lead and start with yourself first and then the rest of us will take the lead.

Good point. In fact almost all attacks are at state parks. I can't find one confirmed attack on someone that just built a new home in mountain lion territory
We have our own kitchens, stay out of theirs. No problems!
@@Preedism Well if your hunting then it also your supermarket
exactly... we are the invasive species !!
@@YesItsReallyKeith Really. And just where would you go to not being an invasive species ? Now think that one over real good because we humans go back a long ways. So much so we developed weapons to defend ourselves.
Common sense is not so common these days. More proof right here
Poor lion shoudnt have killed
yes they should -
any lion attacking humans will always see them, you, as prey
Your not too bright are you. I guess you would want the lion to be moved so another person can get hurt or killed
He was a young lion. He probably panicked.
@@paulbegley1464there are places remote enough for them to be moved to.
@@72marshflower15 They navigate super well and will return believe it or not true. They have to be put down unfortunate as that might be for some
And the lions record is 12 hippies 16 yuppies 28 environmental activists and 1 small child who hasn't made up his mind yet if he's a boy or a girl
Hey look, another Ukrainian family stressing our resources..
Oh Yah. Soft, pink, no claws and not a lot of sharp teeth. And sets right in the belly and comes out in the poop without straining
