And it is ILLEGAL in the state of California, so if you did get one illegally and you were reported as having it, it would be confiscated by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Maybe you should look into getting a job in a zoo.
Maybe you should take up wildlife trail camera photography as a hobby. Robert Martinez has an excellent YT channel and he captures lots of mountain lions on his trail camera in the Angeles National Forest near Los Angeles. It is called Parliament of Owls.
