Jay Gray The view: Yes a bunch of trees! Nothing but trees. That is a beautiful sight, much better than just taking in buildings and concrete. The house has a large walkaround patio so you can sit outside and enjoy that beautiful view of nothing but trees. Nature is beautiful. And for the interior, yes we can't see it all but from what you do see is beautiful woodwork with many large floor to wall windows to enjoy that beautiful view. Maybe some have a deeper appreciation than others, as one who grew up with nothing but woods behind our home and plenty of nature I learned to appreciate it all at an early age. And we also had very large windows to enjoy that beautiful view. :)

@@gregnixon1296 I grew up on a river in Florida during the 70's-80's and yes gators will eat you dog if you let your dog walk up to the water and drink, but we never let our dogs leave the fenced in area that stopped 20 feet shy of the river. And while gators can climb fences, they won't with a dog because they're ambush predators and much more shy than crocs, so dogs scare them away unless they're huge. But mountain lions pose a much more potent threat on land because they're fast,, strong and agile and can practically jump over most fences and hide out in your tree till your dog goes out in the yard.
Ok kids. Get ready! We’re going to the zoo! What are we going see?! We’re going see humans in their natural habitat! Don’t tap on the glass though because they tend to get spooked easily.

@@PHlophe How about don’t kill them, don’t turn them into taxidermy, and leave them alone. Or, if they’re a concern, just relocate them without harming them. They, too, have a right to live like we do.

Whoever filmed this is an idiot. Next time they come back, hopefully you have no pets. Ya should scared the shit out of them. They'll be back for sure.
@Hdhshs Usuahs True. I read a story about someone who woke up in the middle of the night and just knew something wasn't right. They got out of bed, went to the bedroom door and caught of the end of a big tail going back at the end of the hall. They had left a sliding glass door open and the cougar sliced through the screen door to come to make a snack of their dog. Then it went out the way it came. No noise.
Pwnzistor if you were peacefully able to observe four big cats like this, it would be a treat . People read/research/spend lots of many to share a moment half as special.
Look at how that giant cat just gracefully walks across the ledge. They could be so poise and elegant even though they're able to just rip your head off.
@@joewojcik258 they don't attack people unprovoked. They are a wild animal that is an ambush Hunter that is only doing what comes naturally to them for hunting prey. As humans when we decide to take a jog in nature we should also be aware of the risks of encountering the natural inhabitants. Most mountain lion attacks are on people who are jogging, walking, running, biking, or small children from behind (Prey characteristics to a cougar). Cougar are solitary creatures and do not like confrontation unless they are cornered or protecting their young. I live in the mountains and expect wild animals live in the woods around me so therefore I expect every time I leave my house to be aware of my surroundings and the chance that I could have an encounter with a wild animal. Just because I choose to live in the mountains I cannot expect the animals to stop being wild. Cougars don't run around and viciously maul people for the fun of it. We as humans are encroaching on their feeding grounds so we then become a new form of prey for them as we have scared away much of their normal prey. Animals are not malicious, humans are.
There is a YT channel of a man's self made small drinking pond in this person's back yard in southern AZ desert. He has trail cameras set up and all sorts of animals come to drink. Coyote, cougar, turkey, deer, javelins, birds, and all sorts of other animals make their way to the drinking pond in the middle of the night. It's entertaining watching them all. I have always had a large tub of water outside for any thirsty animal passing by. I haven't filmed any, though. This was pretty amazing to catch all these guys on film. You might consider making a drinking station for critters like these, but put it on the edge of your property away from the house. Keep the porch fountain off until they discover the other water source. Great video.
I live in eastern Tennessee, normally we have fairly easy water all over to get to for animals so ive never had to set out any water,, i think it is awesome that you guys look after the animals when they live in an area where water is scarce. Much love to you guys and everyone else who does this. Yall r awesome!!
I've seen that video. He's outside of Tucson. I lived down there years ago. I'm now in the Phoenix area and it's amazing how much wildlife we have in the city.
@Bobbie what do you mean? Praneeth B even put the time stamp.... 0:17 -- or pretty much at any point where they're drinking out of the fountain. It's a small deer statue just to the right... You can see a full shot of it better at 2:15 if you really don't see it amongst them the first time. Otherwise I don't know what to tell ya, lol
And this, my friends, is how you film a video of wildlife in a domestic area. I hate it when you don't get the full resolution to the scenario. This one followed through and left me with a nice sense of ease seeing them all walk away. They are such beautiful, majestic animals. It's truly amazing how quickly and easily the one hopped up onto the railing and then back down again.
I agree, and with all that power and grace many people want to believe they created themselves!!!! If i told you houses build themselves, a house that even with all its technological systems cannot even remotely compare in complexity to those mountain lions,a sane person would tell me,,,,,""no no no there were intelligent minds behind the systems in that house. There were intelligent minds directing the hands that built that house.Just because you were not there to see the work being done changes none of that".
The Fishy Life ! This is going to be happening a lot more often, especially in rural areas, because of all the fires that are going on everywhere. These animals are looking for water, they're fleeing the fires their homes have been destroyed.
Deborah Kelly Plus we keep encroaching their habitats. I’m in north Phoenix and had one jump the back fence into a tree a few years ago. Although it was coming for my dog and not a drink from the pool...
Simply beautiful. I wanna live in that neighborhood. They are more afraid of you than the other way around. Home owner, well done for letting them be and Tks for the video. Let me know when the house next door is for sale.
You shouldn't be feeding them if you are, you could cause there deaths, they will probably go on somebody's porch now, looking for food and get shot, bad video, bad idea.
It's a beautiful thing to see the lions on your porch and needing a drink of water that was a blessing for them. You wouldn't have other rodents roaming your porch know time soon. Thanks for not panicking and filming this beautiful sight to see the mountain lions on your porch like that being free and not bothered.
I would like to thank him also (homeowner). bc those jeep drivers and tourists in Africa, agitating the lions and that noise the sound of those jeep engines and the tourist talking annoys the cats and they can respond in a different way. It will agitate their behavior.

Comments like this are what enable OP to think doing things like this to wild Apex predators is just fine when it's not. These things will kill you or anyone who comes to this house. So much to admire here, between the cats the house and that beautiful view!
bedazzled64 Exactly!
bedazzled64
I must be missing something. What view, what house? All I see is a bunch of trees, a patio with big cats and a driveway. You don't see the house, except for a window. Cats are great.
Knowing that there's four of them out there I don't believe I would ever be able to go outside in the dark ever again
Or daytime either. Basically never.

I'd probably feel a little uneasy if I had a dog living there, but besides that, it's pretty awesome to see them chilling on your porch.
Pets are prey to wildlife. I talked with a man once in Costa Rica who said that he doesn’t have dogs anymore because crocodiles keep eating them.

@@PHlophe How about don’t kill them, don’t turn them into taxidermy, and leave them alone. Or, if they’re a concern, just relocate them without harming them. They, too, have a right to live like we do.

It’s in their best interest that you scare them away or make loud noises. You really don’t want the hanging around your home and thinking it’s a good water source.
Whoever filmed this is an idiot. Next time they come back, hopefully you have no pets.
Ya should scared the shit out of them.
They'll be back for sure.
Exactly! Someone gets hurt then the mountain lions get killed. Lose lose for both sides!
No noise.

@Spongecake Squareshoes not at all. We don't have that kind of animal where I live. But I am always amazed by the beauty of a fox or a bear ❤️❤️
Must be a mama and her kids, or four siblings. Mountain lions are solitary. This was a rare treat for the homeowner!
Treat nothing? I would try somehow to scare them off and discourage them from human contact.
Pwnzistor if you were peacefully able to observe four big cats like this, it would be a treat . People read/research/spend lots of many to share a moment half as special.
A wild animal like that that is comfortable with humans is dangerous to humans and the animal.
Pwnzistor Fair enough, you would scare them off. I can’t say that’s not logical. It may be the right thing to do honestly.
You said it! That was a treat! I would LOVE to live out there! Such beautiful cats. I think someone said it--cubs and Mama. Adorable! Dey was tirsty!
Oh my gosh! They are just gorgeous. You are so lucky! I wish I could see this. Just absolutely beautiful!!! Treat!!!
Look at how that giant cat just gracefully walks across the ledge. They could be so poise and elegant even though they're able to just rip your head off.

As mean as they are, they were polite enough to actually use each staircase to leave.....
Lol
Mean? Whaaat...? You're obviously a flatlander!
mean?
No I meant those sweet animals that attack people sometimes unprovoked. Sorry I I must have misspoke
@@TheDeenaPan ok I'm just going by the reports of them attacking people who are just walking or jogging on a trail.
What’s the name of the yt channel?
I will search back in my history and see if I can locate it.. Stay tuned!
Vuln G I found it. The channel is Bob Foster. One of his videos is titled Wildlife at a Sonoran desert water hole. Enjoy!

Yes, that astounded me as well. Beautiful animals.
Love that he moved his camera slowly
He didn’t try and go out on the porch to get an up close shot like people do with the bison.

It is in no way acceptable to lure these animals into your property. They should be scared to get this close to humans and are meant to be finding water and food naturally out in the wild. I understand why you think this is cool, they are beautiful animals. But unfortunately this isn't good for them or the people living at this house.
