Sick brotha, I'm doing literally the same thing on a 1993 Yamaha YZ250. Only difference is I'm not recording it at all, and I'm not gonna go with factory fenders. I want to try and install newer 2000's fenders instead of the ugly white fenders and violet colored seat lol. I'm just gonna do black EVERYTHING. I sand blasted anything aluminum on it aswell and took a brass wire wheel on a grinder and heated bristles with a torch and ran it on swingarm and left a slightly goldish color. Awesome video man, I love projects like this. I'm a Honda guy, but I got the YZ for free from my uncle with a busted top 3nd and lower rod bearing was toast as well. I cant wait to ride it though
Cool video man. I think you should have tried hand sanding the exhaust label those tools were to agressive like you mentioned. Anyways you live and you learn take care bud.
I’ve been watching and subscribe since the 1st build video, keep the videos coming can’t wait to see the final product, also you should get new red footpegs they would look sick
Hey man quick question, why cerakote the triple tree instead of powder coating? Are there certain parts that are better to be cerakoted than powdered and vice versa?
JEEZ MAN tou are soo talented for such a young guy doing this type of work its BETTER than you would get from some [Professional shops] because its ALL about fast turn around and MONEY , if i had someone like you living close you would get all the work pitty that MOST shops here in the UK havnt hot your skillset unless you PAY BIG MONEY, but like you have shown you can clean most parts up with a soda blaster like new but the engine shops just want you to buy new and from them. Keep doing what your doing because hard work does pay off SCOOBS UK.
Thanks man, the reason why is because cerakote is an easier process on parts that have tighter clearances. On parts that need a higher level of protection and a thicker coating does not effect them I prefer powder coating. But it all depends on what kind of color you want to achieve. If I cerakoted that spring I would not have gotten such a shiny result as I did with powder coat.
It’s an older compressor I don’t think they make it anymore. I will be getting a new one soon and when you see it remind me and I will give you a link to get one!
What do you guys think, restyle plastic kit or the stock one?
stock!
Get the restyle and on eBay there are 2018 style graphics for the restyle kit
get a TX racing restyle plastic kit, the polisport 2018 plastic kit isn't that great
I’d keep it stock
Restyle kit, an also don’t use the old foot pegs just buy new ones they will look a lot cleaner
I can honestly say I would buy a build from you no question. The quality of work is exceptional.
And forgot to say your work on the bikes exceeds perfection Everytime .your a legend mate
Far from it but I really appreciate the positive feedback and support dude!
This Cr125 is gonna be insane.... can't wait
Thanks man! Can’t wait to see the end of your build as well
Adam Paganelli I found Honda cr 125 1999 For $1500 is that a good deal?
My dad and I just did this on my yz 85 and man was getting those old bearings out a pain!
Yeah bearings are not always a good time haha
Super high quality build. Looks awesome!
Thanks for your support, I’m glad you are enjoying it!

I like watching your build videos!
But I wonder why you would chose cerakoting over powder coating? What are the advanteges of cerakoting?

Next time use sanding block when doing brush metal finish.. Its better by hand instead of relying on power tools..
If you strip the nickel plating from the FMF pipe will it be with Muriatic acid? A video on this process would be amazing🙏🏼
