Loving the build series! Never heard of you until you followed me on Instagram, I’ve watched most your videos now and I must say they are definitely quality. 🤘🏼
The trick i use when filling/bleeding the breaks (Or hydraulic clutch) is that i put the break fluid in a syringe and press it in from the caliper to the reservoir. This way i make sure that all the air will be pressed up and out from the system. I almost never have to bleed the system after filling it up like this. :)
Bike is looking sooo fire man! Can’t wait to see it done! One thing tho, there is a procedure when setting the front wheel up and torquing it in so it doesn’t bind up your forks. There’s a bunch of videos showing it but it’s really important so that the forks work correctly.
Thanks man🙏 I think I had them aligned pretty good. I did not really show this in the video and should probably go over in the next video. Maybe I am missing something though send me a link on insta and I will take a look. As always I appreciate the feedback🤟🏼
wicked Build! My dad taught me a trick years ago with the grips. USE Rubber Cement! "gel grip" needs to cure over night tho. Easy to install (don't let it dry first) and comes off with compressed air when its time for a change, leaving little behind which can be pushed of anyway leaving the bars clean
I've had only the same experience trying to use "grip glue" which is code for cheap cheap fast setting super glue. Yeah buddy like you said either grab some sick ODI lock on ( never had an issue at all) or go old school and tie on a set of standard grips. But these days can't go wrong with a good set of "lock ons" unless you have an aftermarket throttle tube (ball bearing or motion pro or something) then you'll need standard tie on grips obviously because lock ons come with throttle tubes. I know you know but just leaving the knowledge for those that may not.
LoL that pro taper glue is NO JOKE . Had the same thing happen on a build I was working on couple years back lol. Awesome progress man. She's beautiful
You should put plastic tubing on your springs to prevent wear and tear of that beautiful pipe , the vibrations eat through the metal... just a tip from Cameron niemela all credit goes to him for that tip doing the same type project as yourself 😎, I’m excited for both reveals 🙂nice work so far 💯
Hi , im from the UK already subbed but just a little something i learned while training as car mech/tech is that if you start torquing down anything front or rear of new build like what your doing is every nut/bolt that you torque MARK IT so you KNOW which ones you did ,im only half way through vid so i dont know if you do it but its just something for future ref. By the way what i see you doing is very well done you should be proud and so should your parents SCOOBS UK.
Realistically, the VP Motorsport series of race gas works the absolute best in 2-strokes and burns much cleaner, but also runs slightly richer with a slippery texture, which I've found to provide better lubrication.
You should ride with Cameron Niemela once he is finished his CR250R Build. He is at around the same stage as you so he would be finished near the same time
alternative is to use hair spray for you're grips bro sounds weird or wrong but it slides on easy then when the spray drys it sets awesome like a grip glue I've always used it mate and never had a drama with it ✌👍
Spray paint works good to put grips on spread on the inside of the grip and then put it on and then it dries and sticks everything together and it's not a pain in the ass to put on like using that glue
When I put my stuff together it’s just that goes here and it’s tight when it’s tight but this guys like torque this torque that on all the Honda recommends this like I like my stuff where I like it, like wheel base, I like mine short as can be
I rarely do compliments in general but waouh!! Your work is amazing on this bike , of course you got skill and you know what you do but i'm really impressed by your whole work .... Actually i'd like to built up a CR125 too by myself but i don't get enough basic mecanic skill yet... lol ;)
Hey .. I see at Time Elaps 9:15 your "Joint Water Hose " faces the back of the bike, and your water hose is longer than stock.. I assume it is because the stock OEM set up (Like My 2002) has the "Joint Pipe " facing out to the side.. and the Recommended FMF fatty pipe pinches down on the "Stock OEM hose set up.. At least mine does.. The pipe does have a Dimple in the back to compensate for the stock hose set up, but to my eyes it still pinches down. I dont want to heat up the pipe and hammer the dimple bigger to allow better water flow.. Any Suggestions.. I am almost done with the build with my son.. this is the only thing holding me up.. Thank you for your time..
Where did you get the part that goes on the back of the cylinder that attaches the radiator hose going to water pump. Mine makes a 90 off cylinder going to water pump. Yours is going straight instead.
Adam love the detail on the CR .I need to pic your brain I've just bought a KtM 200 exc what main jet size would you recommend 😎 ps hurry up and finish the CR your killing us all 😁
Love the look of ur bike just wouldn’t those spoke covers collect water and prevent rust I might be wrong 😂 and I also would say without the spoke covers it would look better with the silver popping with the sick shiny frame👌🏻
Didnt really show on the video but did you align the forks before tightening the pinch bolts, if they arent aligned then they will stick mid stroke and cause damage to the internals.
Cool, there is alot of people who dont know about how to do it, my mate owns a suspension shop and he sees it all the time, so do I at the track, wud b helpful to show. Nice build.
Could anyone tell me at 9:16 where to get one of those after market inlets into the back of the cylinder? The genuine 2003 is on a 90 degree angle but I’m after what Adam is using here.
Hello, I have a Honda Cr125 1999 Theres some white watery thing coming out when i drain the oil. Any idea is its the seals and how much for repairs? Thanks guys
Don’t mix your gas 32 to 1 with maxima mix it how maxima wants the only way you should us 32 to 1 is if you use Honda’s recommend oil you probably mixed it to rich
Get a hold of me I don't know about that cr80r I got you some money in my pocket buddy I need you to rebuild that motor for me I'll see you're one of the best
Great build but please stop saying you guys every few seconds...I’m English and it’s doing my head in.....but you have serious skills...well done mate 👍👍👍👍

Same way I do it my friend old school trick let gravity do the work....

I agree man. That glue is definitely cheap.

LoL that pro taper glue is NO JOKE . Had the same thing happen on a build I was working on couple years back lol. Awesome progress man. She's beautiful
Thanks man! Yeah this stuff is ridiculously strong🤣
Man, I wouldn't even want to get that thing dirty once done...beautiful machine!

Amazing video production and editing. I'm super dooper impressed with this channel. 10 stars.
Thanks so much man! Glad you enjoyed
Awesome video!👌 Can’t wait to see the final looks😍
You should use hairspray as it makes the grip easy to get on but after 5-10 minutes it cures hard
You should ride with Cameron Niemela once he is finished his CR250R Build. He is at around the same stage as you so he would be finished near the same time
Yeah these two bikes are looking soooo good 😍😍😍
@Badass Skeptic why you being a bitch.
Cameron is rebuilding a cr250 2 stroke not 4 stroke
Samuel Irish29 you right
Great work, Adam! Honda looks sooo pretty! When you will end restouration, will you make the video how this CR125 used to look and how it looks now?
Clear spray paint is the best grip glue. No residue and grips are rock solid after. Takes about 5-10 mins to dry
alternative is to use hair spray for you're grips bro sounds weird or wrong but it slides on easy then when the spray drys it sets awesome like a grip glue
I've always used it mate and never had a drama with it ✌👍
Thanks for the tip!
Sick build man! Cant wait for the reveal.
If you're gonna use normal grips, try using just an air compressor to get them on and they slide on more easily
Spray paint works good to put grips on spread on the inside of the grip and then put it on and then it dries and sticks everything together and it's not a pain in the ass to put on like using that glue
Thanks for the advice Tristan
@@adampaganelli4891 it works good I do it with my bike and quad 1998 cr250 and 1987 lt 250r
You should put the break line clamp in the middle so that screw doesn’t wear through the line
Get black fork guard and mud flap
How do you figure out which parts from other models will fit your bike? Great video as always.
three fingers on the chain
It is a very nice bike, and your videos are very good !!
I m from France
Thanks man!
How do you film and work at the same time? Chest mount or someone holding the camera? And what camera do you use? Awesome build series my dude!
I love the videos bro! Keep up the good work!!💯💯
So sick, bike looks cleannn
Thanks man!
Clean and nice work
Thank you!!
Looking good bro!
Thanks Nick!
Why two radiators? By the way your vids are dope. Hope you answer this question
Hey dont laugh at this tip but I always used mega hold hair spray on my grips it works really well neve had one come off and leaves no residue
Thanks for sharing man! Seems like there’s a lot of little tricks out there I will need to test out.
@@adampaganelli4891 no problem I just wish I could still ride lol
Paul Hord it really does work like a charm
@@FULLTHROTTLEFILMZ yes it does
Yeah we use hairspray too on mountainbike grips and i adapt some mountainbike stuff to moto and it works really good

Thanks man!
Gonna look sweet!!!
What program are you using for editing videos? Because the quality is extremely great. Love it and w8ing for new video!

Are you going to torque to spec the plastic bolts 👀
When I put my stuff together it’s just that goes here and it’s tight when it’s tight but this guys like torque this torque that on all the Honda recommends this like I like my stuff where I like it, like wheel base, I like mine short as can be

I agree 32:1 is way too rich with the maxima oil. Id stay around 38-42:1 depending on temperature of where your riding
Cuando la vas a manchar de barro ? Jejeje

Part of the problem was you put too much grip glue on. but yes lock on grip ate best

They are on Rocky Mountain!
ya bro that pro taper glue is just super glue lol

Not right away, but I probably will at some point to help fund the next build.
