After discussing her many appearances on Soul Train, Chaka Khan explained to Luenell that her mother keeps all of the awards she's received throughout her career because they are not what compels her. She also discussed her weight loss and suffering from bad body image throughout the years. According to the singer, she really doesn't know what she looks like and revealed that Aretha Franklin suffered from the same thing. Chaka Khan also clarified that she did not have weight loss surgery and lost weight on her own because she found out she was pre-diabetic.
