Hello Cutiepie, first of all, kudos to you for talking about such rarely talked about issues! And secondly, even more kudos to you for the work and energy you put into your whistle work, in spite of all these obstacles that must make it much harder! Thank you! :) When I heard you talk about your symptoms regarding your heart, I immediately thought of the close connection between the heart and the intestine in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Often, when symptoms don't fall into categories that Western medicine can recognise, TCM with its 2500 year experience can put them into a context that makes sense, and it also has treatments for them. I think it might be worth having a look around for a good TCM practitioner (TCM generally, not just acupuncture), and I know there are some good ones in Chester and Manchester, who during Covid-19 also work remotely. (I'm not on commission - just personal health experience ;) !!)
Oh, Stephanie, you must've made this the day you did my video based on the outfit! I listened to this while cleaning today. I'm speechless at how much strength and courage you have in the face of these challenges! Please continue to be a beacon of light and to remember that you're not alone. I'm a religious person, but I don't want to flaunt that. I do believe that you're created for a purpose, and that God gave us good things and difficult things for a reason. They're what make life so interesting and exciting. I'm so grateful for you, Steph! And I'll continue to cheer for you!
Sorry to hear that you have these problems! I have pretty much the exact same range of symptoms. In the last two years, I have had several flare ups that have sent me to the ER with very bad PSVT. The docs don't really respond or reply when I tell them that the onset of the SVT corresponds to a sudden flare of inflammation in my gut. I have found that a tea of fresh chopped ginger root with organic apple cider vinegar and honey is helpful (if and) when you feel it coming on. I hope your doctor's get back on the case soon and get you fixed up and feeling well!
I believe from what I’ve learned, the pounding in your chest is pressure on your vagus nerve. I am a nurse and I can’t believe gastroenterologists do not know this. These days, doctors are fearful of thinking outside the box, because from a legal standpoint, they must adhere to the standard of care of each diagnosis. The best care in some cases, is provided by alternative care providers, who are not constrained by algorithms. Unfortunately, insurance does not pay for these doctors. At this moment, I have only been able to have clear liquids for the past 3 days, and having chest pressure, and pounding in my chest, so I can relate.
I ended up in resus a couple of weeks ago for the same reason. They then sent me by blue light ambulance to a specialist heart and lung hospital where they met me at the ambulance and were ready to give me an angiogram and a stent. But then after an ultrasound, they said it was alkylosis, presumably brought on by hyperventilation from the stress and trauma, and I'm guessing also, the reflux symptoms. They gave me a chest and abdomen CT, took loads of bloods and also kept me on a heart monitor overnight. But they said all was clear and sent me home. The way you describe everything I'm suffering with is spot on. God bless you for making these videos. Please continue making them. ❤
Wowwwww my anxiety just went down 99.9% I've just had a flare up and generally thought I was going to die pain across my back that won't go, all the symptoms you mentioned. Your my hero. 😊
I have for several months now had IBS symptoms. I have always heard that it is important to chew your food carefully. So that is what I am doing (when I remember to) and I find that by doing so my symptoms go down, a little anyway.
You may have heard that the gut/stomach is sometimes referred to as 'the second brain.' Also, like the heart, an emotional centre for stress, anxiety etc. Follow the advise of doctors and specialists but also do everything you can to elliminate as much stress from your life as possible. Meditation, yoga, Tai Chi...anything conducive to inner calm. And do the things you love...such as your whistle/flute playing. Anything positive will eventually have an affect. Keep happy and give gratitude for everything you have. You will find your way to better health...I'm sure of that! Whistle on!🧚♂️
I think most people have it from time to time 😊 unfortunately, a lot of those people don't understand that it can be SO much worse for people with underlying gut issues. People often brush it off thinking it can't be that bad, but it really is terrifying and debilitating. All I can say is I hope you never experience it, because it's really not nice. Stick to the occasional acid reflux! Gaviscon is your friend! Lol. x

That is so sad to hear about your health, but if its getting worse because of stress please do consider doing some yoga program, I would suggest you Inner Engineering by Isha institute of inner sciences; it really helped me big time.... I am so happy that you got better, this is inspiring.
I don't find yoga particularly relaxing to be honest :D haha. I'm not good at just doing one thing, I like to have lots of things happening at once and the stillness of yoga always feels a little unsettling! I have tried, but I've never bee good at stillness. I love dancing though, hoping to start that up again soon! Covid permitting! x
I’m still trying to figure out what’s wrong with me as well lol. I stopped meat, alcohol and dairy, it helps most of the time and I’m trying to stay away from citrus fruits now
Earlier this year I experienced the same thing you did. I think it got worse when I started working from home and not really exercising. Taking daily walks have helped with the symptoms
@bellachance1206 It comes and goes. Recently had a baby and gained weight that has brought back the episodes. So here I am years later watching this video and seeing your comment.
I have gerd. In October I had and upper endoscopy and found out that i have eosinophilic esophagitis now. But what I have noticed is at night when I midnight snack I have to problem swallowing. I think it’s because I’m so relaxed not stressed. I had just lost my sister in July and that’s when this all started happening shortly after.
This last pregnancy my gerd was so bad that I went into the er because my stomach hurt so bad that my back began to hurt. Sometimes i can’t sleep, eat because I feel like I’m choking. But I do understand you when it gets the best of you mentally where you just want to be normal, happy and healthy. It’s very depressing and causes my anxiety to trigger a panic sometimes but we will get through this some how some way. I’m happy for good days but the bad days is when we so low. I’ll pray for your health and everyone who’s struggles with what you have. Love & peace 💗
I started getting GERD symptoms 3 months ago, I was put on PPI’s which helped with heart burn and other symptoms. One symptom I’m having trouble with is my breathing. I can’t take deep breaths or even yawn completely. The doctors said this probably isn’t related to GERD but they still keep giving me PPI’s for it. Sometimes after I eat my chest feels really tight which causes it to be more difficult to breathe.
YES! I have the same. Feels like you can't take a full breath! It's related! They won't be able to tell you what it is though I doubt. Its usually when your stomach/oesophagus is irritated. Eat REALLY bland stuff, small amounts but regularly (like grazing) as healthy as you can for a month, hopefully that'll help calm things down. Keep sipping water too. It seems to be stress, irritation and inflammation. It'll come and go but it won't last forever. Just try to take it easy and keep calm/happy/ worry free! x
@@cutiepieinsideout9198 I think that’s my biggest fear that this will last forever. I’ve been so scared to make it worse because the doctors haven’t been able to tell me what it is. Is the breathing always there for you? Or does it come and go? Also it’s been hard trying to get others to understand how I feel so I’m happy you are back posting on here!
@@harr9784 comes and goes! Just feels like it's going to last forever, but it doesn't. It might last a while, but not forever! One day it'll disappear as quick as it came and give you a few weeks/months feeling normal 🤣 try things like reducing your carbs, or eating more alkaline foods and less acidic ones for a little while. Try something for a few weeks and see if it helps. Sometimes you find something that really does the trick!
If you want reassuring buy a pulse oxy meter. You can get one for £20. It's very small and fits over your finger. It's measures your oxygen sat. Anything over 94% is normal. If it's below, then you should talk to doc to see if their is another cause. I got one, when I first started having those symptoms. Hope that helps.

Hi, I have a small hiatus hernia and Gerd since 2018 I have been on daily PPI I would like to know does a small hiatus hernia need surgery and does surgery always for GERD hiatus hernia or does the symptom come back again? pls do respond
Hi , I’m there right now , pounding heart oh yes ... I had gallbladder removed 3wks ago and has stuck me in a massive flare up ,, I can relate so much to what your saying , I’m a gargling volcano at the min , 3 days into lansoperazole and it helps for so long during the day but by nighttime blow torch chest it back 😖😖
I wonder if vagus nerve stimulation could help you, there are many little exercises you can do as part of your daily routine which can be especially useful for combating stress. Orthodox medicine can only go so far with these kinds of issues I think.
Carotid massage is one that I use (although it didn't do much during my last panic attack). You basically massage the side of your neck where you can feel your pulse. My asthma inhaler always makes my heart rate go up and it really helps then
@@anujadeore8388 thank you! I'll try it. Drinking cold water usually does the trick for me, thankfully, though unfortunately it's not always to hand! x
I have exactly what you have but mines is bad because I don't eat healthy now and need to eat better, I take the same reflux pills too because it works for me. So concerning the heart beats, I get it bad its your vegas nerve thats causing that, and deep breathing will solve that. The vegas nerve send a false signal when the reflux is currently affected. Thank you for your videos it reminds me to stop eating and drinking whats bad.....
I drink cold water when it happens 😊 anything to stimulate it. It's surprising how much you learn about it, but when it first begins it can be so scary. Hoping this channel will help those with new symptoms learn how to manage them more quickly!
Hope you are able to find a cure at some point. I have stomach issues and have to sleep with my entire bed inclined, but most of the time that solves my issues and I just get to sleep slightly worse because my bed is inclined and I can sliode down haha. But I'm used to it so it doesnt bug me anymore. When I first got sick though I lost a ton of weight and could barely eat for like a month. Luckily I got hooked up with the right doctor relatively quickly and he found out the issue right away. Apparently when I lay down I leak bile into my stomach and over time it just ruined my stomach. So If I'm inclined it doesnt happen. My issue is totally different but hopefully knowing your not alone in having random health issues helps a little.
I sleep on an incline too. I have a few different ways that I change up to try and stay comfortable, as I've only ever really been able to get to sleep on my front, but I can't do that any more because I can't breathe with that much pressure on my stomach! Same for the weight too. Keeping it on is really difficult as there's so little I can eat, especially when things are bad. I have to try and make the most of the good days to get some calories in! Glad to hear you've found a solution though! 😊 That's wonderful news! ❤️
@@cutiepieinsideout9198 Do you use a adjustable frame or do you incline using something under the head of your bed? I really hated the adjustable frame I tried. If you were on anything but your back it felt totally wrong (and I still hated it for back sleeping). My current is actually this giant dense foam wedge that inclines my whole mattress, keeping it straight. This makes side and stomach sleeping less bad while inclined. The cheap alternative to this tho is to just put some books under the head of your bed. You just want to make sure your bed frame isnt super weak with this option because my original bed frame broke because my brother and his girlfriend were chilling on my bed and the legs snapped because they were weaker from being at a slight angle haha.
@@ElijahG98 I have a foam wedge (constantly slide down it, lol), I have 'elephant feet' under the head of the bed (plastic blocks to raise the bed at the top) and I sometimes use a series of large pillows stacked to make the same angle is the wedge, which I find much more comfortable! I've also found that cuddling one of those pillows makes it 'feel' like I'm sleeping on my front, without the added pressure, which is nice!
I have gerd and there are times when I feel fine, but other days I get bad acid reflux and it feels like my insides are burning and I get chest pains and sometimes can't swallow food without feeling burning. It can often flare up at night when I am trying to sleep with chest pains and inside burning feelings and there are times I feel like I need to burp but instead when I do, I get a burning acid reflux coming up as well. Certain foods make it worse so I tend not to eat them only the rare times when I feel OK and I mostly stick to a vegetarian diet which has helped me and I completly avoid red meat , fish and chocolate. There are certian foods if I eat them, even a small amount of a it that is really bad for me. It feels like I can't swallow it and when I do, I get a burning feeling that just keeps building up and up. With that, some foods like pancakes make me hiccup which makes it feel worse and I can have chest pains with it. I try to drink some water when that happens to try and get rid of the burning feeling and that often lowers it, but at the same time, it just makes the feeling much worse for a minute or so before the acid reflux calms down. Acidic foods and drinks can irritate me at times but in small amounts they are OK. I can eat spicy foods but only in small amounts. I also can't drink anything fizzy/carbonated as it gives me terrible trapped gas pains in my stomach and a bloated feeling for ages that makes me feel a bit sick and again if I try and burp to get rid of some of that, sometimes it works but other times when I burp, I get acid reflux as I mentioned above and it makes me feel as if I can't do anything until the feeling goes away.
Same! The hiccups are SO annoying. They are so huge and forceful and mine often last a long time ☹️ trying to figure out what causes those, I think it's specific foods! Glad to hear you're finding out works for you! I had great success with a few weeks of low carb diet (if you're at a low with everything else). It was blissful, but very difficult!

Hi bro how are u now....
I am feeling the same thing...
Help😢😢😢
Are you any better now?

It comes and goes.
Very sorry for the loss. We pray for your wellbeing.
Thank you
So sorry to hear about your sister :( I hope your condition doesn't cause you too many problems. xx
I have Zwieback and Reflux Tea for tonight and watching your Videos in Vienna 😌
@@cutiepieinsideout9198 thank you!!! 💞
I was so excited to find this channel because I am in the middle of this adventure myself. Sad to see that you are not uploading currently and hope that you are doing well. 🤍
Good grief, 2020 has done a number on us hasn’t it! Every single flare up of reflux / lpr has been caused by some kind of stress. Then the anxiety of being sick and wondering what is wrong makes things doubly stressful!

Hi, I have a small hiatus hernia and Gerd since 2018 I have been on daily PPI I would like to know does a small hiatus hernia need surgery and does surgery always for GERD hiatus hernia or does the symptom come back again? pls do respond
Do you know how you got your hiatal hernia?
No idea!
Hi , I’m there right now , pounding heart oh yes ... I had gallbladder removed 3wks ago and has stuck me in a massive flare up ,, I can relate so much to what your saying , I’m a gargling volcano at the min , 3 days into lansoperazole and it helps for so long during the day but by nighttime blow torch chest it back 😖😖
Oh, it can be so tough. Fingers crossed all settles down soon! xx
Have you ever been tested for a thing called helicobacter pylori?
Yes, it was the first test I ever had (and have had more than once). Never present.
Courage!
I have been feeling so depressed thinking this will be my life from now on. I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia two months ago I’m only 38 😞

@@snowy-19 yes bro I have throat symptoms
@@snowy-19 ppi won't help me much with this
I wonder if vagus nerve stimulation could help you, there are many little exercises you can do as part of your daily routine which can be especially useful for combating stress.
@@cutiepieinsideout9198 keep up the videos there awesome, and explain so so well thank you.....
I’ve got ibs and I believe gerd too!!! It’s horrible 😢😢😢
Did your stomach hurts ?
What tests did you have done?
Still having tests! Booked for an endoscopy next and to see a dietitian to confirm allergies/intolerances.
@@cutiepieinsideout9198 Please let us all know how it goes.
Can you do the update video ?
I have some strange stomach problem that when I'm tired I puke a bit.
I have all these symptoms and I’m male, started on 24th December 2021 still going today . Rubbish
